“Who are you to say what I may or may not be? I spill my blood for this god forsaken village because I have a clan to protect. I’m protecting those that are close to me.. If they wish to not acknowledge that, then so be it. I simply joined because they wanted to be safe… I joined because of your request. Madara, riddle me this, how long have we known each other? How long have I stood by your clans side during the wars? Madara tell me, who was the first person that greeted you when you came back with Izuna? Huh? HUH?!” The kunoichi growls at the Uchiha standing before her, he knows of her temper, the sacrifices she had made after her father’s death, the men she had saved under his quick commands.. And for him to come and bark such frivolous things to her like this? This upsets her much. She understands him though, she gets whee he comes from but it frustrates her. There are may things that frustrates her.. Izuna’s death was one of them.. “Why do you say these things? What are you trying to accomplish here? Madara tell me. Please.”
Madara watches her, his eyes dark. He hadn’t expected her to become so angry over his comments, but he was truly furious on her behalf. She didn’t understand what was going on--no, their clan, the Haruno, had been allied with the Uchiha, and they had not seen the whole treaty charter.
Surely, if he explains, she would, but he did not know if he would be able to, considering how furious he was. Every mission she took, there were comments about her abilities, most of them sexist. He could not abide by it any longer. Also, as allied with the Uchiha, she also was looked at differently--he’d noticed how some gave her a wide berth in the streets.
“Sa-ku-ra. They do not want us here. They want the Uchiha and their allies gone. They do not appreciate us. Surely you’ve noticed how the rest of them do not want to be placed on a team with us--that the missions they give us are skewed. Am I the only one that sees this?”
