I doubt that them just reading things would really alter their belief system. There are plenty of TERFs that are very well read, and will even construe ideas like dia-materialism to couch their hate in, or simply ignore the contradictions between their beliefs.

yeah you’re absolutely right tbh i was being hyperbolic because i see so much stupid shit as a result of not understanding it but even among supposed marxists so many people just couch their bigotry in different language because they prioritize their own self interest over others suffering and don’t care to extend compassion to people with experiences outside of their own lmao
