Every day the world makes me feel more dead inside. And it is the pretty colors in my favorite things that remind me I actually have a soul.

I understand why it's a symptom but it's honestly still funny to me that one of the symptoms of szpd is "sexual abstinence". My psych writing "gets no bitches" in my chart

There are many very common things/experiences that I do not understand even a little bit. Being Schizoid really does make you feel like an alien often

It really does feel like this when you start working on your szpd instead of just perpetuating the emotional numbness because it's safer

Szpd is so funny because you have the same sensitivity and hypervigilance as in some other personality disorders but instead of breaking down you just go "ok 😐" then completely emotionally disengage from the other person

The recurrent schizoid panic spiral of "maybe I can emotionally distance/cut myself off and it isn't too late" when you become attached to someone. Brother you've already lost the idgaf war
