“The wings of this butterfly were highly sought-after during the War of the Magi, as their scales could be used to make poison that inhibited the restoration of magical energy. As a result, they were hunted to near extinction, and now very few remain.”

“What are we doing here…” Jungkook mumbled, slightly embarrassed by the fact he was being dragged by the wrist into a park filled with people, mainly children.
“For you to relax,” Hoseok pouted, swinging around and facing Jungkook. “You need to chill.”
“And we come to a park for that?” Jungkook replied, exasperated. He scanned the area, thankfully no one was paying them any attention. He had to admit it was a nice day, the sky was a shocking shade of blue, you’d think that kind colour would be considered unnatural, but yet, here it was. There was a constant breeze that blew, just enough to cool down, but not too much as to constantly get their hair in their way. He blinked as they passed under a tree, the sunshine filtering in through the leaves, making a rather hypnotizing light show on the ground beneath them.
“Come on, you have to at least admit this place looks pretty,“ Hoseok grinned, their pace slowing down to a stop. “Relax, okay?” he repeated, squeezing Jungkook’s hand reassuringly.
"Fine,“ Jungkook replied, meeting his gaze with a soft look. He knew the older was worried about how much he was pushing himself, it was a much needed break anyways. Something caught his eye, a swing set, which was surprisingly vacant. “Could we go sit there?” he pointed over to the swings, cheeks reddening from what he considered to be a childish request. Hoseok’s eyes followed the younger’s hand, upon seeing the destination, he laughed, nodding at Jungkook.
They made their way to the swings, each taking a seat and slowly pushing themselves into momentum. They were silent during this process, unsure of what to say to each other.
"Don’t push yourself too hard,“ Hoseok spoke up, worry laced in his voice. Jungkook was surprised at the sudden statement.
"I can’t not work hard though, I can’t fail now,” he mumbled, pushing himself higher on the swing, he noticed that Hoseok was keeping pace, both of them subconsciously racing each other.
"Forcing yourself is not going to help,“ Hoseok sighed. "You still have to take care of yourself, and don’t forget, we’re here for you. I’m here for you, don’t put all the pressure on yourself.” Jungkook stayed silent, contemplating his words, he admitted that he had forgotten that everyone else was in the same situation he was, they were all working hard.
"I didn’t want to worry you guys,“ Jungkook replied, looking down, however still climbing higher. "You guys already have so many other things to be concerned with.”
"You’re worrying us even more like this, your health comes before anything else,“ Hoseok matched Jungkook’s pace, noting that the younger was always one step ahead of him. "Rely on me a bit,” he smiled. Jungkook merely looked up at the sky as he reached the highest point of the swing, allowing the wind to mess up his hair.
"Alright I will, but I so won this,“ Jungkook let out a breath, looking over at Hoseok and grinned at him.
"You win, you win,” Hoseok laughed. He leapt off the swing, landing gracefully on his feet and turning around to look triumphantly at Jungkook.
"I am not jumping,“ Jungkook emphasized, his feet dragging on the ground when they could to attempt to slow himself down, which would take awhile.
"Come on, I’ll catch you!” Hoseok promised, extending his arms out as if to prove himself. Jungkook look worriedly at the older, he gulped and chose to trust him.
"Okay, I’m doing it,“ he warned, waiting for the right timing to jump off, he stalled for a bit, nerves getting the better of him. He gritted his teeth and took the risk, hands letting go of the rope, allowing himself to fly off the seat, his heart pumped at the rush he felt, even if it was just for awhile, he flew.
Jungkook fell into Hoseok’s arms, the latter embracing him, stumbling back a few steps from the impact. He knew he could’ve landed himself, but it felt nice knowing someone was there to catch him when he fell.
"Thank you,” Jungkook whispered, burying himself into Hoseok’s arms, he felt secure.
"You’re welcome,“ Hoseok kissed the younger’s cheek tenderly, running his fingers through his hair. "Let’s head back now, it’s almost time for dinner,” he mused, placing one last kiss on his forehead, smiling brightly at him. Jungkook nodded, the sun was setting behind them, it was cliché of him to say but it made Hoseok look angelic, not that he even needed lighting for that.
"Yeah, I’m starving,“ Jungkook laughed, intertwining his fingers with Hoseok’s as they made their way back to their home.
