Hello my lovelies! I know I haven’t been on in a while, but I’ve started a full time job, applied to universities, and been accepted!
Unfortunately, I’m still flat broke! And could use any and all the help that I can get.
A Short Bit about me:
I’m a Latina first gen college student. I graduated with Latin Honors from BU and am now working full time to save for grad school this fall. Unfortunately, it will only really be enough to cover housing and expenses, so that leaves tuition, books, flights, etc. that I will have to take a loan for. I will be studying medieval studies focusing on Viking interactions with the British Isles with the end goal of a Ph.D. I want to ultimately make museums and education more accessible to underserved communities and students! AND GOALS AND HOW IMMA MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
As an aspiring curator, one of my missions is to make museums affordable and accessible so kids like myself can learn to fall in love with history, science, art, and the things that make humans more human through empathy and experience.
If I do pursue a career in academia, I want to build outreach programs to underfunded schools, and most importantly get students and professors actively involved in education outside of elite universities.

I am a 22 yr old transgender, queer student with a 3.3 gpa who will be transfering to the University Of New Haven in august after grduating from my collee. i am trying to find scholarships but am really struggling and have no idea where to start!
