I finally felt well enough mood wise to write this group paper thats due in 5 hours for school. It needs to be 3 pages and I’ve rewritten 3 times already. And I don’t have enough ‘responses’ from my group to write anything beyond 2 pages. I only have so much in my vocabulary, and elongating jargon.

two fucking weeks after i emailed my teacher about the fact that i completely misunderstood how the take-home midterm was going to work/the dates associated with it and realized this half an hour before the due date (what i thought was the day it was assigned) she finally emails me back

also i learned i was wrong through emails with her so it's not like it's the wrong email address/mode of contact

lady i've already dropped your class bc last day to drop is in eight days and i assumed it was just fucked up

also i never used tiredness as an excuse for not doing the midterm i used having no fucking idea how it was going to work despite syllabus reading/going to class/taking copious notes so pls do not do the stern "tiredness is no excuse for missing an entire midterm" thing

(so freaking angry at myself over this because i was and am SO DETERMINED TO DO THIS RIGHT and i thought i was! i thought i had it all down! but take home midterms with no clear instructions ahead of time askdhsdk. i COULD have checked canvas and noticed but a) i am actually not great at checking my canvas notifications, somehow they're set up so everything gets a notification so i just end up tuning them out and keeping up with my online class through the discussions list/syllabus and b) i was out of town that weekend - it was assigned over a weekend - and thought i knew what i had to do)

It pisses me off that people disrespect you so much. You are so nice and funny and it just makes me angry that people say so much shit about you. I'm sorry that you have to deal with a bunch of ungrateful assholes. The shit I hear about you after classes, before classes, etc, just makes me so sad. I'm sorry that you had to/have to put up with such a rotten bunch. You're trying and apparently that's not good enough for people. Trust me, it's them, not you.

The reason I was out getting myself ice cream though was because my ASL class is starting to super stress me out.  They keep pushing back this speech thing that we have to do in front of our class and three Deaf ladies, which is a combination of my fear of public speaking and my terror of looking like an idiot (speaking a language I'm learning to a native speaker without much practice or confidence).  So because they keep pushing it back I keep getting more and more nervous about it and I had a really stupid and messy panic attack right before class, which made me late today and left me exhausted and with a massive headache.  And now they've pushed it back again and I will also have to do a test on chapters 18 and 19 AND choose a song for my ASL final.

I'm so freaking angry at my professor. There's such a double standard in this school; we want you to succeed, but we're going to only celebrate the prodigies.

There are people in this class that the physical typing comes super easy to, who can write already at 120 wpm on the steno machine.

There are three of us who are still struggling at 50.

What happens? ALL our dictation is at 80+ wpm now. when I ask the professor to slow down to my speed, with the others at this speed... we get ONE dictation. How are we supposed to learn like this?!

I'm more than frustrated. I'm angry. There's almost no point to driving a whole hour every morning, losing sleep, only to have no help at the speeds I need them at!
