I feel like a lot of "health conscious" people, mainly influencers, are ableist. Like I hate how they talk about fortified foods as if vitamins are bad.

They're always like "oh just get it naturally from the earth". Well my body hates the earth and I can't absorb certain nutrients without having it supplemented in my food or taking meds.

Even my own friends are feeding into that stuff and trying to insist that the things I need to live are poison.

My controversial opinion is that the Batman mantle shouldn't be passed down at all, since it is too intertwined with Bruce's fundamental personality and being, to the point where anyone taking it up will always feel off or not exactly 'right'.

Unless you're Helena Wayne, then you can do whatever you want.

Unimportant but something I find so funny about tralsei discourse between reddit and tumblr is that these two sites are VERY opposing forces You can't even make a joke about Ralsei being potentially trans without people throwing their glasses at you for how "we don't REALLY KNOW if Ralsei is trans, yet!! He probably ISN'T, even!!" meanwhile here everyone is just like "That's a woman, dawg. The most she to ever her."

Okay so I just finished watching the movie ‘Obsession’ since it’s gaining popularity right now and looking back at the TikToks of men SWEARING that Bear was not the villain genuinely pisses me off right now. Sure, he killed himself at the end to stop the chaos he created, but I HIGHLY doubt he did that for Nikki mainly because he knew she’d be in so much more anguish after she snapped back?? All of her friends dead because her guy best friend wanted her to love him. The scene where she was speaking through her subconscious while the entity was asleep said a lot about how selfish Bear really was. She begs him to free her while being in god knows what kind of agony and the only thing he replies with is “How bad is it to be with me.” IT IS NOT ABOUT YOU. Genuinely the creepiest thing about this is her independence and liveliness being stripped away and guys finding a reason to criticise her. Them laughing at the SA scene doesn’t surprise me tbh.

lesbianism is not based on the exclusion of men,nor has it ever been. It's based on queer attraction to women.

I despise Gen AI so much, I can no longer enjoy certain art styles because it was the most stolen by AI. I hate that I have to look at art and scrutinize whether it's human made or not, instead of just being in awe and appreciating human creativity like I used to do.

People worked hard to be know for a specific art style and now because of AI their legacy is bismirched.

I miss looking at starry skied, watercolor pastel art styles without having a second thought.

hi hi look, it’s one thing if you're a minor reading or writing stuff you shouldn't be—i’m not here to police what you do in your own time. but it’s a totally different thing to actually interact with fics that have clear mdni warnings on them.

it’s honestly so disrespectful to authors who have made it clear they aren't comfortable with minors engaging with that content (myself included). the warning is right there for a reason. please don’t comment or reblog those specific posts. it’s frustrating that this even needs to be said.

to be clear, i’m fine with minors being on this blog since most of what i post is sfw. but when i do post something 18+, i really don't want underage accounts interacting with it. i can't check every single profile in my notifications, but if i catch you, i’m going to block you. i’ve already had to do it a few times for this exact reason.
