Chay stood at the end of the driveway. Pol was in the car, waiting to take him wherever he wanted to go. All he wanted was to go home. Chay didn’t know where that was, but he knew it wasn’t here. Not anymore. Maybe it never was. Chay looked at the house his brother loved and saw nothing but loss.
It was his turn to leave.
