School shenanigans shitpost
So. Normally I don’t do text-posts for Tumblr as this is meant to be purely an art blog. Increasingly a fanart blog it seems.
I didn’t reeeally mean it to turn out like this, but here we are
I felt like I had to share this small story from today given it’s kind of fitting with the fanart I’ve been making lately:
There’s this girl in my class I chat with, we always sit next to one another and I help her out if she needs some advice with her work. Well today, while she was explaining this problem to me she was having, she suddenly paused, looked at me weirdly and then got all concerned:
Friend: Oh my god did a cat or something scratch you?
Friend: you got this nasty scratch-mark on your neck!
Me: Oh, it’s just, I have a habit of scratching my neck lightly sometimes when I thi....wait there’s a mark?
Me: OhshitI’mturningintoShigarakihalpplz
In all seriousness before anyone worries, it turns out I had a broken nail with a sharp edge that had left the marks that normally wouldn’t happen(forreals, I’ve done this for years and it has never really happened before where someone thinks a cat scratched me or so as it’s usually very light scratching that doesn’t leave marks.) I’d been so in thought with what I was doing that the slight sting hadn’t registered properly.
(To be fair; wintertime always makes my skin itchier too anyway, so this habit happens more often)
That sure was a weird moment.
I think I’m gonna try and be more aware of this habit so I don’t accidentally spook her again. (˚^˚);
