I have to do a flashback Wednesday - which is not a “thing” - because well...truth time...I’m broken out beyond belief (yes I am 41 and yes I still have 14 year old acne because I have PCOS among other things). In addition to my pizza face, my hair is ombré in a bad way....getting my roots done now and never mind that extra 10 pounds that found their way to my hips. I have been struggling to tell folks this because we all have perfect images we want the world to see and makeup to cover up the rest but I do think there is space on social platforms for joys and struggles, laughs and tears and everything in between. And that is actually why I like social media - I was late to the game to join (I did not get a Facebook until middle of 2017 - yes for real - and I still woke up every day! Miracle) But social platforms have been so helpful to me to find others who understand, empathize and encourage. For all the social media nay-sayers - I say yes. Find your positive tribe on the platforms and lose the not so positive ones. I would love to hear the thing you love most about social media.
