Danny is Schrodinger's boy.

At any given moment everyone lives in a universe where they don't know if Danny is dead or alive, until they check.

He's always half-ghost, so he has the same powers and characteristics in either form. Becoming Phantom is just about aesthetic.

He has no control over weather he's considered alive or dead. Every once in a while he'll check his pulse and find nothing, then he checks again and he feels his heartbeat.

Tucker and Sam make bets about it.

Sam wins most times.

Danny is confused as to how she does it.

Schrodinger's theory was based on a cat he accidentally turned into a halfa. The reason he gets upset when people imply it's based on a real cat is that he's trying to protect it's secret identity

At some point Danny finds schrodinger's cat. Bad jokes ensue. Going off some fanart i saw a while ago. I imagine schrodinger's cat was trapped in a box in the ghost zone and boxy freed it.

The cat gets attached to both Danny and dani because it sees them as kittens. Baby halfas that must be protected.
