Liquid Hate in Ruins

Every subject after Marybeth's variant has a kill instinct towards anyone infected by the Operator.

Comparability is typically Russian roulette, however, if the subject healthy and strong they are more likely to survive the process and live longer.

Liquid Hate Subjects under EJ is would either die in combat or rot within 5 years while Marybeth's seem immortal.

"Undead" subjects aren't revived as the same person except for Ji-eun. They become mindless soldiers or have a complete identity reset.

@bittersweetiepie yeah they do, and while i can’t find a good pic of their final design, this bit of concept art is pretty close to what we got in the movie (put below a readmore in case anyone doesn’t wanna get spoiled and will watch the movie to see for themselves):

and fear not! the movie isn’t actually scary at all. the trailer just amped it up to spook people the right way into seeing Arrival. the movie is actually a very slow and beautiful piece of storytelling, with incredible plot twists along the way. i honestly can’t stress enough how much i wish more people would go off about Arrival, bc it’s hands down one of The Best Sci-fis i have ever watched, and probably ever will.

My aesthetic is slowly becoming more spook oriented. Any mystery sci-fi show, things related to ghosts, monsters, the occult. Like yes, I will ask a magic 8 ball a question and believe it's answer, I will believe the creaks in the house are ghosts, and the trees are broken in the woods bc of Bigfoot. Fuck yeah cryptids and mythology and aliens and alternate dimensions and TIME TRAVEL AND SENTIENT TECHNOLOGY. Hell yes I like spoopy supernatural stuff. I WANT TO BELIEVE

Dude just found out about The Orb this is the craziest shit I’ve ever heard

The fact that Sam Oldwhiteman genuinely built a device that could STEAL YOUR FACE and 12 MILLION people have already done it… to supposedly combat AI, a problem HIS COMPANY created, and called it The Orb. what.

Do you ever wonder how every person in the world can be an individual? 

I get that each person has specialized likes and dislikes, but there's gotta be someone who's pretty dam similar to me. There's like...what...300 million people living in America alone. What are the chances that there's at least one person (if not 3 or 4) who also love crime stories, peach tea, summer and hip hop? Maybe there's someone in Nebraska who has all my same interests except crime stories. Or likes Diet Coke instead of regular. 

I just feel like it'd be hard for any one person to be truly extraordinary. Obviously people in other countries are going to be drastically different from me, solely based on cultural differences and the influences in their country, but in America I don't feel like there's that much originality. 

I may not know anyone who is a Molly-clone now and maybe I never will. But I'm sure there's someone out there among the 50 states who is like me. I can only hope that if/when I meet them that they look nothing like me. Because...holy fuck I can't even process that variable into this situation. 

It's all Twilight Zone shit. 

This is the kind of stuff I think about while I'm alone.
