Once I saw a Perceptor from you and was starstruck. I miss my husband </3
yes... Yes... YES.
I've done a Percy TFP sketch concept like a year ago along with Blaster, Elita & Sunstriker with Sideswipe, but since he lost a poll, I had to let him sleep in my folders (except for that cameo doing avatar for my beloved GF), and since I'm drowning in other things to do i never had a good excuse to actually finish him .
SO THANK YOU TO GIVE ME THE CHANCE TO DO IIIT !!!
Who knows really. She just kind of appeared one day so I just slapped her onto the list of fantrolls. Keep forgetting her name.
If Opozia had the chance to start over, to just totally reinvent herself, what kind of person would she like to be? Would she ultimately be happier and more self-satisfied that way?
...Probably not any different. Opozia's issues with herself are caused by the same source that Zolina (for instance!) is so full of herself: society constantly reminds her that she's useless and pathetic (where Zo is constantly told she's The Best). Over time, this just got to her! So, as long as she's within the hemospectrum proper, she'll be pretty depressive.
I forgot to include a third question for Opozia. She's just so... forgetable.
wait who are we talking about exactly?
IS Falera's weakness actually butts?? Confirm/deny.
Alright we have to put this to rest once and for all: Deny. Her weakness is not butts. I'm... I'm sorry.
What kind of photographs does Falera take? Does she prefer live subjects, landscapes? Has she ever taken pictures of ghosts to defeat them?
She's more of a live subject type, though more than likely has done some landscapes (fun fact: Opozia is a painter who prefers landscapes, she's a photographer who prefers people- contrast intentional!). Fal disbelieves these silly ghosts and thus sees no reason to defeat them. (fun fact #2: Falera's slot was actually going to be a ghost themed troll before Things Changed).
Falera likes the guitar. What's her favorite kind of music? If she was offered a job as a musician, would she sell out and become part of the corporate machine?
Because Falera is an UncultureD, FoolisH LowblooD, she's a rock fan (more so classic stuff, less as much the heavy death sort). She would become part of the corporate machine in a second- she's already sold out to the guy whose quirk's been quoted here (WHOA SPOILER). She's not a hopeless rebel!
How laughable are Saivan's attempts at philosophy?
The Most Laughable. Insane conclusions with zero grounds in logic just to support whatever the hell he's doing. Or disprove what someone else is doing. Of course, he actually tries to read the real philosophers, but he just totally muddles what they're saying.
Is Saivan literally a stereotypical Nice Guy?? He sounds that way. How does he feel about the prospect of becoming an MRA and wearing a fedora?
honestly I have no idea what an MRA is and Google gave me nothing (but I now know of the existence of the Minnesota Rodeo Association and that's great). The fedora bit, though, he would welcome because... he's the kind of guy to welcome that. Anyways: I would say less so stereotypical Nice Guy, more so totally ruthless New Rich-in-training type, which... essentially involves being the SNG. So... maybe.
What uses does Saivan find for his psychic power? Seems like a pretty nice one to have.
It's really useful to get people to take walks with their lusus, allowing him to steal junk, getting them to pay him a boatload of cash for his services, and generally help him get a favorable outcome when trying to get things from people. He's very pleased with it.
Quick! Determine Losigo's psychic power! Just start typing, don't even think about it!!! What did you get?
um, um, um, the ability to alter the magnetism of objects and such and so forth. Thinking about the potential for all of five seconds that's actually Really Cool.
Losigo has a great face for radio; if he got control over the programming of a station, what would it be like? What would the thing be named?
He'd probably use it to talk about the general state of things and report news: so basically a normal radio station. Which big FLARP teams are winning, how the Fidusspawn tournies are turning out, which seadweller the lowbloods should bow down to for the day... As such, he'd probably give it a really boring name like Kedean News (that is his last name boys and girls).
So we've determined that Losigo is aware his clothes are ridiculous. Why does he continue wearing them?
Because they're his Totally Legitimate Professional clothes! Like, vests? All the professionals wear vests. Ties? Yeah, the one he has will do. Nobody will ever take him seriously as an instructor if he looks like a slob. It doesn't help that Clarta encourages this Terrible Choice.
So Viradi writes fiction! Give us an excerpt. Do it do it do it.
"And so, the bold knight strode forward, brandishing his sword in the direction of the evil wizard that stood before him. 'Have at ye!' he cried as he lunged to make the kill. But his sword would not meet its mark, for the knight very quickly found himself a pile of ashes on the ground, victim to the wizard's magical flames. And thus the lesson was learned by all knights that leaping senselessly at enemy wizards is a stupid-shit idea."
You've mentioned Viradi would do anything to become a star. ANYTHING? Even debuttoning Saivan's shirt??
Yes. Yes she would. Of course Saivan is in an even shittier position in life than she is, essentially trying for the same goal (Greatness, Fame, and Fortune), but lacking any natural talent to help with the process. So hopefully, it will never come to that. Hopefully.
Viradi is obviously pretty ruthless, has she ever gotten in trouble for her cut-throat ways? Gotten close?
Oh no doubt she's gotten close. Angry matesprits and moirails coming to call after smashing in the face of a rival actor. She's still here, so we know how they ended up as well. She's pretty good at covering her tracks though.
Has Eranir ever actually found a use for that potato that looks like the Empress' profile or the seven-pronged fork? Would he ever even dream of ruining his precious collection by applying it to practical matters?
No, its day will most certainly come.
Yes- that's the whole reason for the collection in the first place! Of course, you never know what you'll need in the future for said practical matters, so the obvious solution is to keep EVERYTHING. Of course, he's starting to develop a connection to many of the items, so that's getting more difficult.
Why is Eranir so uncool? Has he ever done anything to try and fix that?
(Bad) Luck of the draw I suppose! He's not really concerned with being cool. He's a fairly happy guy and likes to march to the beat of his own drummer. Besides if he wasn't here then Nataul would be the Biggest Dork and that'd be sad.
What's with Eranir's clothing? Has he ever considered just, like, wearing a new pair of pants instead of patching up the old ones?
Yes, but he decided against it! The way he sees it, why throw them away when they're still perfectly good, just in need of a few small repairs. That would be a waste: and Eranir hates waste (watch out Molide).
Has Ocring ever misappropriated those painkillers he fiddles with so much?
Oh of course. Someone's got to test them, right? And Dystas never lets him use her test subjects, soooo... cut out the middle man? Overtime, Ocreng's sense of pain has become a lot duller himself, and it wouldn't be far from the truth to say he's developing a personal connection to his work.
Octane wants to get away from the image of the deranged dentist; has he ever considered that maybe his weird smile and sterile coat might hurt his attempts? From appearances I'd cast him as Steve Martin in Little Shop, you know?
Fact: I was listening to "Dentist!" when I was designing Ocreng. And hey, SB: You can't be a good dentist without the proper uniform or a brilliant set of teeth yourself! don't judge a book by its cover, gosh.
You've mentioned Octorok is into ceramics! What's his favorite creation, outside the toothy arena?
Most of the focus lies on actually making teeth and tools for his trade, yet aside from that as you asked, he enjoys pottery from time to time. He probably has several that he keeps around, one particularly fancy one being his favorite.
Is there a reason Brilis spends so much time away from her hive? How does her lusus feel about it? Does it ever join her on her explorations?
Her hive is not a cave. Thus, she does not hang around her hive: basic logic, gosh!! Houses aren't exciting. Her lusus is very ok with this considering yes, she does bring it with her often during her explorations! The details of her lusus are still foggy though so that's all I can offer up for now!
If Brilis spends so much time investigating the dirt under her feet, how will she feel once she joins the Fleet and doesn't have caves to go cavorting in? Will the prospect of geology on other planets make up for the loss of the one she's gotten to know?
She's going to be pretty bummed out if she's stuck up in space for her entire Fleet career. Like, severely pretty bummed out, considering that's her Big Thing. She would absolutely love to explore other planets, though: the prospect of totally new alien geography and minerals is like the coolest thing ever for her, so hopefully the fleet will be smart and send her down there!
Brilis' singing voice is great! Is she aware of that fact? Does she use it for much, or is it just kind of a hobby? How would she feel if she lost her voice?
She is aware of it, but doesn't really use it much- more of a hobby. She would be pretty sad if she lost it, but would get over it in a fair amount of time. She's not so interested in music, and as one of the quieter of my trolls, doesn't exactly show it off very much. So normally it comes as a big surprise to hear what the little dirt-dweller is capable of. But that's another story.
Is Dystas aware of how easily Zenere manipulates her? How does she feel about falling so easily for her own nefarious psychological tactics?
Oh of course. Dystas is more than reasonable enough to admit her own failings, but feels confident that she has a pretty firm grasp on Zenere past that. She's not too concerned about it, and really, views it as a good thing: If she can be manipulated in such a way, so can anyone.
Has Dystas ever had one of her experiments turn sour on her? Has anybody ever come for revenge?
Dozens of times- they just get killed without ceremony. The people that come for revenge just take their place- she's got her hive stocked with enough dangerous things to ensure she can't be overwhelmed there. She's even better at covering her tracks than Viradi though, and is a lot less heavy-handed with dealing out pain. There's no just straight-up murdering someone and calling it a day. There's a process to go through.
Is Dystas even capable of feeling empathy, or is that a thing she's happy to go without?
She's no Luquas, but she's certainly dangerously low on the empathy-o-meter. She manages to block most of it out through her own brand of special insane logic. But, yes, it is there, and in the right situations, it might be able to be drawn out. Maybe.
What's the worst situation Reldin's ever gotten himself into in the wilderness? How'd he survive?
Cornered by BEARS. A pack of BEARS (fact: only the most dangerous bears travel in packs). He probably escaped with the less-than-badass method of climbing up whatever cliff he was backed up against. And then dropped rocks on them from the top.
What's Reldin's favorite thing to hunt? Does he eat his kills? Keep trophies? Has he got a set of hand-crafted bigfoot-fur underwear?
No particular favorites, really (except bigfoot), but yeah, he generally eats what he kills and keeps things such as antlers, bones, teeth, and claws as trophies. The bigfoot-fur underwear, however, is up to your imagination.
Why does Reldin want to raft down the River of Doubt? Has he ever considered a more stable watercraft?
Because then he can make it into the River of Unquestionable Certainty of course. Only the most adventurous of adventurers use rafts. Anything else would be doing the cause a disservice.
Sielre claims to be a "student of the science of warfare"; has she invented anything particularly useful in that field? What was it?
Yes!! Unlike these other scrubs, Sielre has true proof of her skill. She has the blueprints for all kinds of starships, fighters, and weaponry of her own design. Like, a lightning gun? Duh, next major weapon the future. It's weather themed, so bonus points.
How does Sielre feel about the hemospectrum? Her behavior towards highbloods doesn't seem particularly different from her treatment of those lower than herself.
She subscribes to the "Leave me alone and let me work" interpretation, which results in generally the same feelings all around, with, as you observed, minor exceptions. Lowbloods are "annoying peasant distractions" and highbloods are "snooty aristocrat distractions." Being one of the second herself, though, she gives more time of day to them. Push come to shove, hemoloyal because being a blueblood gives her free reign to do Wacky Shit.
How far does Sielre's desire to manipulate weather extend? Would she be satisfied with a mere lightning gun, or does she want nothing less than total control over all weather, ever?
Would to believe that the previously mentioned lightning gun was thought up before I read it in this question? As can thus drawn from that being an answer, though, she will stop at nothing less than TOTAL CONTROL. Nothing short of being able to change the weather to anything she desires whenever she desires 24/7 can be considered a success.
What's the most momentous feat Milgor has accomplished with his STRENGTH?
literally punching the shit out of some poor unfortunate????
If Milgor's so incredible, why isn't he a seadweller?
because you smell that's why. he don't need to stinkin' fins to rock.
Milgor isn't very bright. Since he considers himself the best a troll can get, how does he justify this? What's his reaction to problems that require brains instead of brawn, where the Gordian knot solution won't suffice?
Unlike Amazar, JustificatioN is not a cardinal rule of Milgor. Milgor's rules are as follows: 1. I am the best. End rules. That's what he thinks and he is because he is, anyone who questions it is Just Wrong. Brain-problems are just Stupid and Pointless and obviously not as cool as Brawn-problems anyways. like seriously, if you can't solve a problem by punching it, who even cares
why is amazar like a black hole? they both suck and have no brain. BAM.
also both are like the most destructive thing in the universe and nothing can resist their attraction
does anybody even like amazar? you gotta be suffering question fatigue by now so let me answer for you: NOPE WHAT A JERK
STILL GOING STRONG THANK YOU. and no, well, there's csetje, right, and...
well she's all that matters ok
seriously, this guy is the worst, no questions for him. i am cruel and capricious
inb4 you suck up to clarta
Why isn't there more Clarta? Is there even any good reason, or are you just depriving us because you're a jerk/
HEY LOOK.
Serious answer though, I would love for there to be More Clarta! On the ratio of Actual Use Time to position among my favorites, she has the best numbers considering she was in the tiny amount of Shooshpapped but is easily at least my second favorite troll (maybe even tied with Amazar at times). The reason is that I haven't had a good chance lately, but trust me, I would love to use her more!
Clarta's obviously pretty smart, have there ever been any occasions where she felt completely outclassed? If she did, how would she react to it?
That incident where she tried to do some Beethoven-esque deaf composing humbled her quite a bit insofar as feeling completely outclassed. Generally, though, she's very good at just picking herself up, dusting herself off, and moving on with the next project: she's not really one to stop and feel bad about herself. There'd be a moment's reaction of "oh shit wow that sucked" followed quickly by "well better get back to things I can do!"
Considering Clarta's disability, is there anything she hesitates to do? Has she ever found herself in a situation where she's actually unable to do something? She seems like she gets around it really well.
She doesn't dance, period. That's probably the one big thing I can think of that she'll refuse to do considering she can't hear the music and would feel completely foolish doing it. Otherwise, she prides herself on not letting herself be held back, generally.
Nataul keeps his ridiculous glasses as part of his image. How important does he feel his image is? What lengths does he go to in order to look the part?
Not really that important, but he's convinced that the glasses help convey his brainy-ness, which is very important to him. All he really does is wear the glasses- otherwise, he's not too concerned.
Nataul's pretty high up the spectrum, he could probably land himself a job commanding a ship or twelve. Would he go for that kind of thing or pass for something simpler? He strikes me as kind of a navigator type.
He would be more than willing to command a handful of ships! It would make him nostalgic for the FLARP days... only these would be way cooler because he's a real commander for real. He'd be alright just navigating as well, though: you're absolutely right that he'd fit the part. Really, Nat isn't very picky. He just wants a good job that he'll enjoy.
What are all those things Nataul has stuck on his jacket? Anything interesting?
Medals he looted during his FLARP campaigns! Like, old military medals that were found in piles of treasure. As a gentleman seagrift, they're a brilliant touch to his appearance. Despite quitting FLARP, he stills wears them due to the ties with history and all that. What they're medals for, however, is anyone's guess. OOCwise, the onlyy symbolism going on is that the silver one has a little tyrian ribbon to connect it to the Empress and all that.
How much faith does Zolina put into the advice of soothsayers?
Oh, loads of faith of course. Unless they give her an unfavorable result, in which case they're obviously just crackpots. They always seem to give pleasing predictions, which absolutely has nothing to do with the piles of money she pays them to say the sooth for her.
Once Zolina succeeds in the glorious peoples' revolution, what are the first five changes she'll enact as empress? And how well does she deal with the immediate assassination attempt?
1. Her face on all the money, period. 2. Kill all supporters of the previous Empress. 3. Zolina Appreciation Day is every Sunday. 4. All seadwellers higher than her on the spectrum are killed or must swear complete loyalty in some crazy ritual. 5. The new way to address herself is The Most Serene and Glorious Empress of All Trolls and Their Conquered Races, Her Gracious Majesty Empress Zolina I.
Their will be no assassination attempt, because who would want to assassinate such a wonderful woman? duh. if there was, well, that's not something anyone would anticipate because duh.
What's Zolina's favorite thing about herself? She's gotta be propping that ego up somehow.
Limiting it to just one thing would be counterproductive. Zo literally loves everything about herself, no holding back.
If Dystas was forced to deal with the others for an extended period, what kind of chaos would she unleash? Who is the first to get murderated due to her machinations? Is anybody capable of outsmarting her?
Considering nearly all would piss her off to some end, she would probably try to turn them against each other and watch the following chaos and destruction (which really, wouldn't be hard with people like Milgor around). Saivan is probably the first to get murderated, she can see through his facade as clear as day and doesn't want to deal with any of his pointless bullshit and would let everyone know straight away. Very few of my trolls have the necessary balance of brainpower, a clear mind to deal with her bullshit, and social skills to outsmart Dystas. Clarta and Brilis are the most balanced generally, though, and thus may be capable of it.
- Does anybody play along with Zolina's proclamations? Is anybody brave enough to butt heads with her? Which of your trolls would be all for the reign of Empress Zolina I? If she actually pulled off a coup, would Amazar immediately try to usurp her himself??
Clarta thinks that what Zolina is doing is basically Totally Bullshit and doesn't appreciate it at all, but says nothing. Milgor eats that stuff up because he doesn't know better, really, and is BFFs with Zo. Falera kind of plays along because she's a dirty sellout. Reldin just laughs it off because he doesn't have the heart to tell her that she's Fucking Nuts. Amazar, meanwhile, would actually not attempt to steal the throne- at least directly. He'd much prefer to work from behind it- that way, he avoids the assassinations that being the figurehead draws to you. He'd like to work within the system and take control that way.
- Who's better at rugged outdoorsy stuff, Reldin or Brilis? How well would they get along? What if we throw Eranir in the mix?
Reldin generally, seeing as Brilis really limits herself to spelunking and similar activities, where Reldin basically lives and breaths outdoors. They get along quite well, and in an ES-Troll Story, would probably wind up as matesprits, or at least BFFs. With Eranir, they both laugh at him and tell him to get outside for once. He says no and they leave.
- If Viradi and Dystas teamed up, how terrible would the results be? What kind of body count are we looking at?
Pretty Damn Terrible. If they teamed up to kill people generally, the count would be really ugly. Trying to achieve goals, only slightly higher than Viradi's current: instead of killing rivals, she'd ship them off to Dystas. Expect a tally in the near future.
- Amazar believes in rivalry with seadwellers. Do Nataul and Zolina tolerate that shit? Where does Clarta fall?
Nataul really doesn't care at all and allows friendly competition now and again, though finds Amazar to be uncomfortably serious. Zolina, likewise, and she generally gets along well with Amazar due to a shared interest in Being Massive Jerks- she probably encourages it as a means to prove how great she is. Clarta thinks that that whole business is idiotic. like who really cares about it.
