- In Chapter one, Rudy mentions Noelle being scared of a whole lot of things! Life-threatening battle seems like a good thing to be apprehensive about. ;)
- Awww thank you so much, anon! I super appreciate it!
*BnB mug of breakfast beverage is shoved your way*
*SLUUURURPROSISPPPPPP* thanks.

No one had given bear a stuffed animal? *CRYING HANDING HIM A STUFFIE OF A MANATEE BECAUSE THEY ARE CUTE*
LMAO HE WOULD APPRECIATE THAT-
Most people don’t know that he would like them because he doesn’t talk about them a lot, so yeah, no one has ever gifted him one. Very sad but now he’s been given multiple by y’all!! So all is well<33
Oh my God Brick giving a nickname is hilarious because they could potentially be the first to create their S/Os name-sign. Meaning that's basically their new name in ASL. Don't like being called a variation of the first letter of your name and a cookie? Too bad, that's your name now.
That’s pretty much how King got his name-sign-- he learned sign first and faster and was in the middle of explaining the concept of name-signs to his brother when Brick went, “wait,” googled something, and asked if he could pick King’s.
King (perhaps foolishly, he realizes in retrospect) agreed, and now his name-sign is identical to ‘cactus,’ no variation at all.
Brick was feeling uncharitable that day and thought his brother was being kind of a prick, but even in a better mood, King is tall and pointy so he insists it still works and must stay, as-is.
...It’s okay, King pulled the same trick a couple days later when Brick had mostly forgotten about it and didn’t remember exactly why agreeing to let his brother choose a name-sign might be a risky move.
It’s just between the two of them, the rare occasions they both happen to be communicating in ASL, but when King wants to refer specifically to his brother, he uses the sign for ‘joke,’ unaltered. Because Brick is so funny, of course!
Brick concedes that this is fair turnabout and doesn’t even mind... but it’s not official and he’s not introducing himself to anybody else that way, he’s the mute one so King can’t actually give him a name, it doesn’t work the other way around--and even if it did, he’s the older brother, so there.
Ahh...brotherly love... UwU
At least with a (potential) s/o, a little further along in his knowledge of sign, any names Brick might choose for them would probably be flattering!
