Hull-Cracker Marine (sci-fi concept)
Nobody:
The SciFi Mad Scientist in my head: "What if humanity took a bunch of famously invasive species and dropped them off on a terraformed planet to see what kind of ecosystems would emerge?"
Waterpixel Art #51
Concept art works of the UHM Zephyr, a giant capital ship.
Sci-fi concept: image-to-text and translating tools have gotten better and better, and tools like live translating on Augmented Reality have become more and more accessible. This gets paired with speech translators and voice deepfakes to the point that users never have to learn other languages - you can understand anything and write/speak to anyone.
More and more people keep installing this upgrade, and eventually it’s nearly ubiquitous. People install them younger and younger, and soon you don’t even need to be formally taught languages in school anymore; these apps can translate even your “native language” into bits you intuitively understand.
Before long, every person on Earth is essentially speaking their own private language through a digital filter.
Spaceships and a spooky tripod mech I did on a bit of a whim!
