"To you, what does it mean to suffer?"
Oh, this was an easy one.
"Basically, suffering is easily reproducible in humans and human-adjacent things with a simple combination of helplessness, agony, and indefinite uncertainty."
It wasn't the first time Two entertained Lucius and his questions- he reasoned it would not be the last. But, whether the sword of the Prince of Pleasure was invested in probing his mind for answers he thought that Slaanesh might not give him, or if he merely found it entertaining to needle him with ironic aphorisms was beyond Two. In the end, he supposed the distinction truly didn't matter. The situation would situate either way.
"So, essentially, if you mix trauma, plus tragedy, plus time, you have an easy formula to reproduce easily retrievable tribute for your demented patron to jerk off to. Are you satisfied, or do you have more to ask of me?"
His brow twitched, perhaps a briefest moment of betraying his true emotions. The corner of Two's lip creased. He allowed himself just a moment of impudence.
"Maybe with enough time, you'll learn how to twist your little Ponzi scheme inwards. It would be far more efficient than dragging others into it- and far more fair to the rest of the universe," he snarled.
