Did you know that the Amazonian Giant Centipede (Scolopendra gigantea) is the largest known centipede in the world? They can exceed 30cm in length and are found across much of South America and the southern most reaches of the Caribbean. These powerful hunters will kill and eat anything it can overpower, including birds, lizards, bats, and tarantulas.
