Cassie caminó a sentarse al lado de su padre, quien miraba su celular con gesto algo ausente.

—¿Que pasa pulga? —Scott guardó rápido el aparato en cuanto su hija se sentó a su lado.

—¿Estás triste por el Señor Stark?

—¿Que? No, no solo...estaba enojado con Luis, porque perdió otro de mis planos.

—Sé que estás enamorado del señor Stark —insistió la niña, ignorando completamente lo que su papá había dicho.

Scott hizo un gesto de la boca y se giró a verla.

—¿Cómo sabes eso, Cassie?

La niña jugó con sus manos.

—La noche pasada, cuando creías que estaba dormida. No estaba dormida, bajé por más jugo y los vi besándose.

—Pulga, no debes espiar a las personas, ya hemos hablado de eso —dijo a modo de suave regañó.

—No quería espiarlos, solo quería jugo —argumentó.

—Nos viste besándonos entonces.

Cassie asintió.

—Pero no entiendo porque estás triste. El señor Stark también parece enamorado de ti.

—El señor Stark...Tony, tiene problemas, y personas que lo quisieron le hicieron daño. Yo creo que llegué a hacerle daño...y a Hank no le gusta que esté con él, ni a Hope —se pasó una mano por el rostro— lo siento cariño, tú no deberías estar escuchando esto.

Cassie hizo una pequeña mueca.

—Pero... Tú estás feliz cuando estás con él ¿No? Y tú ríes, y el ríe, los he visto en la entrada de la casa.

—Sí, si, soy feliz y me rio mucho estando con él.

—Entonces si tú estás feliz y él está feliz. ¿Porque estás triste?

Scott movió su lengua y luego se encogió de hombros.

—No sé si pueda hacerlo feliz siempre.

—Yo creo que sí puedes.

—¿Tú lo crees pulga?

Cassie asintió y movió su mano para sacar el celular de su papá.

—Llamalo, dile que venga a comer pastel con nosotros.

Scott miró el celular y luego la sonrisa en su hija, así que tomó el celular.

Marcó el número y esperó en la línea.

—Stark, ¿Tienes...tiempo de venir a comer pastel? —preguntó, mirando a los ojos a su pequeña, quien levantó un pulgar en señal de ánimo.

Quizá su hija tenía razón, quizá a veces pensaba demasiado sobre sí mismo y ser insuficiente en esa relación. Probablemente Tony podría ser feliz con sonrisas, y una rebanada de pastel.

Story pitch 1: 

edited to reflect the new ship. After listening to my initial instinct and my writing buddies I've decided that Scott/Tony/Clint will work much better.

Scott had a great career running his own security company until he's set up by Darren Cross and faces an indictment by the federal government. As he's an ex con, he can't risk going back to jail and abandoning his little daughter Cassie. 

Cross gives a Scott a way out, become his Omega and he'll make sure all the charges are dropped. Scott considers it but then he runs into fellow Omega Tony Stark and his Omega mate Clint Barton. At first, he doesn't particularly like Tony. But gradually, he comes to respect him and eventually forms a friendship. Feelings start to develop between the three of them and then there's cross's  schemes and Cassie's welfare to consider. Things just got a whole lot more complicated.

Story pitch 2:

Dean Tony Stark knows exactly what happens at his college. Or so he thinks. When it turns out the hot arts professor Steve Rogers is actually a fashion model by night, the campus is turned upside down. But is that all there is to the alpha?

When another alpha by name of Bucky Barnes starts showing up on campus, Tony is pulled into a rollercoaster of shenanigans, secret meetings and police investigations. What's a poor Dean to do but try to cooperate as his life is turned upside down.
