Season 2022-23 Opener! A nice little 3k and it was probably the best season opener we’ve ever had (excluding the ever present…how the fuck does the go pro work that happens at the beginning of every season lol). Slash’s mentally maturity has helped him in being out front A LOT this year compared to last, just sad there’s not great footage but I love these dogs so much.

Slash did better this time, but still lacks some confidence especially when the other dogs are really far behind him (and they are most of the time bc running any string with Sigurd is not fast lmao).

7.2 km run this morning. I had intended to take the rig our trail but the temperature was higher than I anticipated so I wanted to get them moving ASAP.

Lots of good things about this run, dogs were motivated and were really good at leaving distractions. Had a bunch of really good passes too.
