Chapter 3: Day 1
The sky is purple. The grass a greenish blue color. Falcons fly a foot away from us. Just what is this place?
I look over to my left to see Scott. I remember him from before. We're both sitting in the back of a truck that drives down the road.
And yet again, no clue which part of the timeline I ended up in. You'd think with a weird setting like this I'd actually remember which World this is. But nothing.
At this point, it's getting old asking what's happening. I should probably just play along with it.
Entry #2:
“I dragged my luggage up the stairs of the Bed & Breakfast while my partner talked business on his cellphone.”
I glance down as Johnny stops at the bottom of the stairs. I drop my luggage at the top of the stairs, crossing my arms and looking down at him. “Ew, Johnny, can’t you talk to them later? We still need to move our stuff in,” I shout down the stairs.
Johnny frowns as he looks up at me, and doesn’t respond. A few minutes later, he hangs up the phone and quickly joins me at the top of the stairs. “Scott, come on, that was an important friend,” he says, retrieving his luggage.
“You mean that idiot Rudat?” I ask him.
“Cut it out, Scott. You can call him Skine,” he says, walking up next to me now, “And it sounds like our search for Chozu might need to be put on pause. Things aren’t looking too good back there.”
I roll my eyes, dragging my bag down the hallway. “Why can’t he just take care of himself? Chozu’s the one who’s in trouble.”
“I know they’re both in a pinch, but I can’t imagine losing Skine again...” he says, dragging his bag behind him.
“And you don’t care what happens to Chozu!?” I shout out. I’m getting mad now. So mad that sharing this room with him is gonna be annoying.
“Hey, I never said that! Calm down, Scott. Let’s talk this over in the room,” he says, pulling out the room key. I shrug, watching him open the door. He holds it open for me, but I know he’s just doing that because I’m upset with him.
I throw my bag onto the bed and glare in his direction now. He shuts the door behind him and sighs.
“...Skine said something that you might be interested in hearing,” Johnny starts talking, but I could care less about what that stupid Rudat has to say. “He mentioned that there’s a group of rebel demons attacking his tribe. Sound familiar to you?”
I widen my eyes. I wonder if he’s just saying this to get my attention. But either way, I need proof.
“Are you saying it’s related to Chozu’s group?” I ask cautiously.
“It’s just a hunch, but I think it’s worth checking out. You in?” he asks.
“Ew, I guess we can look. But don’t expect me to rescue Rudat or anything,” I say, laying down on the bed.
“Then it’s settled. Let’s head out first thing tomorrow morning!” Johnny looks at me excitedly.
I can’t help but think it was a mistake to agree to this, but if it means getting closer to finding Chozu, then it’s probably worth it.
I'm gonna be out of town for the next week, so this is my last digital one for a while! I'm planning on coming back to this project when I return, but here's Scott.
So I'm replaying TWEWY and Neku acts kinda like Scott at the beginning of the game.
Another part of the Mr Marcus World event! For this one, I drew my characters in randomized anime styles. I got some really hard ones that are drastically different than my own style on two opposite ends: Lucky Star and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure.
This was a fun project that was based on an old one. We would pair The Nays up randomly and they had to draw themselves wearing the clothes of another Nay. I also used a brush that had more of a traditional feel to it, since we used to always do this original project on paper.
I designed a new banner to use on some of my sites! My old one featuring The Nays needed a drastic update since it was old, so I decided to spend some time and draw a new one.
