#moonwake edition

I started writing Chapter 2 of my Twine story last night, and here are some of the moments from the beginning of the chapter! This one takes place during the Timer Eventure.

Day 27: Head out the door

I decide it's probably best to go meet up outside of this crazy fight. So I run out the door to see a huge building! It's like some kind of fancy mansion.

I walk a few steps until I hear a voice call out to me.

"Iniko, over here!" the one responsible is a kid with black hair and orange clothes. Oh right, this is Gair.

"Whoa, hey Gair! I was supposed to find you, wasn't I?" I say, walking over to him.

"Haw yeah! We're all gonna meet in the courtyard of this place so we can get out of here together," he replies with a smile on his face.

"Are you sure about that..? Why not just the front door?" I ask.

"Uh that's being protected by some guards, so we can't really go there..." he says, scratching his head, "and... Shaw ordered us to go to the courtyard..."

That last part made him sound really reluctant! He must really not wanna listen to these orders from Shaw.

"So this is really... an order that must be protected, huh?" I ask him.

"Wit? Uh, I guess so. We just need to find the others," Gair replies. I think he's distracted by something because he didn't seem to hear a word I just said!

Almost a year ago, I worked on a story in Twine for a few days that involved tons of story choices, as well a bunch of story conditions and limitations to make it more fun to write. 

I decided to pick the story back up and finished Chapter 1! Here are the moments from the chapter that I'm planning to put at the top of each page.

Day 25: Kitchen

NOTE: This is from Chapter 2. All entries from now until the end of the month will be finishing off that chapter since I ended up skipping that one.

"Let's go into the kitchen first," I recommend. Gair nods, as we rush into the kitchen. There are a bunch of people in chef outfits and everyone is making food.

It's hard to tell who is on our side since they all look so obedient in here.

I notice two lovers cowering in the corner as a guard yells at them. Maybe they're on our side? I look to Gair, but his attention isn't on them at all.

One is a boy with a hockey uniform and blue helmet, while the other is a girl with blonde pigtails. They both look like they're about to cry.

Day 6: Go outside

I rush outside to see what the commotion is. I see a guy in a blue hoodie holding a gun to a girl with blue hair's head.

"Anyone who don't wanna have a bad time should hand over their wallets!" the guy shouts out at the people who are cowering behind objects.

"Oh this don't look so good," Dallasama whispers to us.

"This man is only possessed by a demon! Someone, please, help me out so I can save him!" the girl shouts out.

"And you shut up, kid, or I'll shoot this mega bullet through your skull!" the man sounds more violent as he presses the gun against her forehead.

I start to notice that the man's eyes are black with red pupils. Was that demon possession for real?

Day 21: Leave the cave

I decide to leave Trekkon and Kominushu to do their sibling thing and head off on my own. When I get outside, I come face-to-face with Katume. He has a golden aura for some reason and is smirking in my direction.

"So traitor... what're you doing over here?" he asks, his expression turning into a frown frowning.

I don't want to give him an answer, so I just shake my head.

"Well... I'll give you one more chance to redeem yourself. If you head into that cave and kill Kominushu, you can join me still," he says.

Day 20: Find Trekkon

I follow Kominushu to what seems to be the core of this World. So Trekkon's supposed to be in this place.

"Let's see... if my sources are right... he'll be in there!" she points to a small path under some rocks.

We walk for a while, following the path until we come across a boy with blue hair lying in a cave crevice.

"Trekkon!" she calls out, rushing towards him. He slowly opens his eyes as he sees Kominushu. He jumps back from surprise.

"Kominushu...!? Is that... is that really you?" he asks. She nods, hugging him.

"It's been so long! But I... I need your help..." she begins.

I feel kind of out of place here...

Chapter 3: Day 1

The sky is purple. The grass a greenish blue color. Falcons fly a foot away from us. Just what is this place?

I look over to my left to see Scott. I remember him from before. We're both sitting in the back of a truck that drives down the road. 

And yet again, no clue which part of the timeline I ended up in. You'd think with a weird setting like this I'd actually remember which World this is. But nothing. 

At this point, it's getting old asking what's happening. I should probably just play along with it.
