Randomly remembered I was a Scottish Dancer for like, years??? In elementary school but still. Put on a couple of the dances I remember and poorly danced around my living room like a 10 year old and I feel better than I have all day.
Minus my ancient ankles protesting but meh 😂
Just some of my fathers kilts and pins. Keep in mind this is the stuff he would wear to his dance classes so the pins have taken a beating at times. They are the handy kilts. All real good quality some a bit lighter (still heavy as fuck) but one specific one here is crazy heavy. I won't go into why. Many of these are passed down if not every one of them. There are more also passed down.
Would have taken better pics but didn't have permission to drag them out and I know how my father is with his organization. You Must put it back as it was. I know I couldn't do I didn't mess with it.
Plus one ski pin, used as a kilt pin. He needed a kilt pin but didn't want to use a fancy one with Scottish dancing lol!
This...this should be classed as a dangerous activity. Especially when you’re doing it drunk.
You may think being Scottish is fun and whimsical, but we are literally cursed to start dancing every time we hear Cotton-Eyed Joe playing. a normal day then suddenly- FORWARD 2 CLAP CLAP CLAP

Tories blame SNP Policies for Scottish People Dancing Less...
Can anything political be made about people dancing? According to the Scottish Conservative Party you can.
Since 2007, when the Scottish National Party (SNP) first took power as government, the number of people regularly dancing north of the border have reportedly halved.
A mere coincidence? Not if you ask the Tories who have jokingly claimed the SNP’s ‘narrow-minded constitutional wrangling and grievance agenda’ has sapped the Scottish people’s energy for dancing, reports the Independent.
The Scottish Conservatives’ health spokesperson, Jackson Carlaw said: ‘If ever proof was needed that the SNP has sapped the energy from people’s feet, this is it.
‘You could say the Scottish Government has been doing a Charleston all this time. But there is a serious side to these figures too: They show that many have turned their back on once-popular activities – particularly dancing – which contribute to a healthy lifestyle.
‘That is of great concern, and I hope we are somehow able to turn this around in future years. With challenges like obesity and diabetes causing increased trouble for the NHS, we need to press home the importance of an active and energetic approach to life.’

An SNP spokesperson responded, telling the National: ‘This is “strictly” nonsense – as usual, the Tories are out of step with opinion in Scotland, and are set to be left reeling at the election in May.’
Similar falls in children taking part in dance, music and drama has been recorded in England where Labour has blamed cuts to the arts council and local authorities.

Sometimes people deserve an A for effort and hilarity. LOL
