Great, he just dug his own grave with that excuse. Couldn't he come up with something better? But a silly mind like his could never run out of silly ideas. "Y-yes?" He says a bit hesitantly. "Commander, I suggest you ask Scout Braus! I was with her during training." Yeah, Sasha is the only stupid one who he can bribe with food into agreeing with him. Problem solved. He just needs to find her first before the Commander does.

"……….." Sasha was the last person he would probably ask. That girl would say anything in exchange for food he noticed. He saw exactly what Connie was going for, and so he just decided to go along. Irvin would just do the opposite and go ask Jean later. "Hmm…I’ll be sure to speak to Braus later then."

Oh crap! The Commander is still quite sharp for an old man, that is to Connie's own beliefs. The young Springer thinks of a good excuse that might get him off the hook. "Well...you see Commander, I'm already done with my training. I ran more than what was required!" lies. He still hasn't even shown his butt onto the training fields. [ -hugs back- ^^ its been a while! I hope you're okay.]

Clearly a lie; a very terrible one at that. He gave Connie a long stare, unimpressed with his attempts at trying to avoid training. “Is that so? So, if I go ask your friends if you were on the field with them, they’ll agree, correct?”

Connie tries his best to hide his smile at that. "Yes, stress! That's the exact reason why your hair is thinning! You should relax a bit Commander." He says, followed by "Cleaning? That would be Eren's job from the Corporal's team, Sir! Training is much suitable for a genius soldier like me!" [ -clings and cuddles- XDD waaah~ I missed youuuu commandeeeeerrr~]

Deciding to just ignore the hair thinning comment, he just casually moved on to the latest topic, b-because he was sure his hair was fine. These kids all assuming he was an old man. There was nothing wrong with your 30s! “Is that so? Well, I don’t see you training. I’m sure you should get on that or someone might think you’re skipping out on it.”

"Hello Commander! Its been a while! I see your hair is getting thinner and thinner! Too much stress?"

"My hair is getting thinner…?" He almost reached a hand out reflexively to check, frowning awkwardly as he fought that urge. H-His hair was fine, he was sure! "Well, stress comes with the job, Springer. Shouldn’t you be training—or cleaning?"

Stalk. tbh, I didn't like Irvin at all because I thought the formation he did was really stupid. But after getting to talk with you/your Irvin for a while. I began to like him now. Thanks to you! ^^

Training? Did the Commander just asked him about training? oh crap! The Commander mustn't find out that he's been slacking most of the time. He's a genius. He can't help it. "Training...well...you see...Oh wait! Is that Corporal's voice? I'll be back soon Commander! and lessen your coffee intake!" he says as he makes a quick dash out of the office.

Irvin was waiting patiently, taking note of the hesitation on Connie’s face with quiet pensivity—at least before he said the corporal was calling him. Huh? Strange…he didn’t hear the man’s voice. The commander tried to hear for it, but Connie was already scrambling out of his office.

"…….Not training again, I see," he whispered to himself, soon giving a faint sigh and returning to his coffee and reports. Connie really needed to get better at lies.

"You're definitely right, Commander! It would be a glorious day! They would start to realize how amazing it is to be bald---I mean, have a shaved head!" the young Springer's determination isn't decreasing at all. Rather, the Commander helps to boost it more. Good luck Commander.

Connie sounded like he was enjoying the prospect of him with a shaved head far too much, the man simply staring with slightly furrowed brows. M-Maybe he should randomly change the topic to something else.

"Yes, shaved heads are….nice, I suppose. Ah, that aside, has training been going well for you? No issues?"

Still with a grin on his face, he says "I can't wait for that day to happen, Commander! You'll definitely be as handsome as me!"

He wasn’t sure he was looking forward to his hairline receding, nor was he looking forward to losing locks of his hair, but he slowly nodded at Connie. “Mmm…that will…be a glorious day, I am sure."
