Hello there, just came to say i ADORE how you draw the dummy pokie little Jack!
Big fan of your style! But too shy for no using the anon stuff, sorry :,B
Anyways- since you say that you would love to have someone to ask silly questions about them, can I ask ones?
Like- how is the relationship between Bright and Draven? I see Draven liking him a lot. Was Jack a good father figure here? What happened or what did Draven do to Jack wanting to kill him?
(Also english is not really my strong, sorry for mistakes :,D)
Jack was and is, at the end of it all, Draven’s dad.
She went to all of his baseball games, took him to school when she was still allowed outside of the facility, went to parent teacher conferences when Kondraki was unavailable, everything. You name it and Jack was there.
They had a very strong relationship and if Jack could’ve, they would have taken Draven into his custody permanently. But Draven was stubborn and still wanted his dad after everything. So, Jack didn’t fight it.
And in my Au, it was a series of events that led to the eventual break in their bond.
Jack Bright has never been the most stable man, and he isn’t hard to break. So, when you see your “husband” leave, your friends use you, your brother losing all respect for you, everything slowly crumbling around you, you start to break. Really and truly break.
It didn’t help when his nephew started to act just like they did, slowly being poisoned by the facility.
He just wants to save him, to keep him safe where no one can get to him. To take the poison out the only way he can think of. Jack is the only one who can do it, he’s the only one that understands. He wants to save him, to give him the only mercy he can offer.
And hey, it’s hard to watch your dad lose it. It’s hard to watch him set off one of the biggest breaches site 19 has ever seen. It’s hard to watch as he goes around the halls, hardly aware of what she’s doing. And it’s hard to fight back when all you want is to snap her out of it and bring her back to you.
