hey does anyone else hate it when you're writing a scene and you have a specific direction you need to push the scene (to get to the next part you need to write) but the characters just refuse to let the dialogue happen naturally, and thus end up making you rewrite the dialogue

BUT THEN THE DIALOGUE TAKES THE SCENE INTO A DIFFERENT DIRECTION EVEN IF YOU TRY TO PULL IT BACK ON COURSE???

or is it just me?

What's the Worst That Could Happen? (SCP-AU)

SCP-9320, highly violent to humans and humanoids, especially ones in laboratory coats, for reasons unknown and extremely resistant to or outright immune to most sedatives. It appears to be a cyborg cat of some kind, but DNA testing has shown human genes. Has an affinity for machines and has requested metal to create mechanical animals to be her friends. Has the ability to shapeshift into other cyborg felines, but seems to favour a lioness design with long human hair sprouting from its neck and exterior mostly covered by silvery and bronze-coloured metals of unknown kind, dubbed "Almost-Mecha-Lioness Form."

Why exactly does it hate humans and humanoids so much? Setting it in a room with another SCP might yeild answers. What's the worst that could happen? This creature only has foot-long claws in one of its forms!
