Karlie grew up in a two-parents, relatively middle-class, normal house hold. Her mum was a private tutor for primary school children, and her father was a high school football coach.
While Karlie was still in high school, she split herself hugely. She worked after school at a coffee shop, studied her ass off to get the grades she needed for college, all while spending any and all free time dancing and taking classes she paid for herself. It was actually a wonder she ever did have time to date.
Since graduating, Karlie fought her way into one of the top academies for dance. She got Rosewell and with funds from her own job and her parents saving, she managed to get herself to Paris, where she took up another job and continued her same routine. Although still fairly new to the academy, she was offered the opportunity for an exchange term to see how St Judes ran. Being higher on the Dance ranking list of the academies, Karlie threw herself at the chance.
PERSONALITY TRAITS
Her crushes change and jump very often. She has no set type, if you have a pretty face, Karlie gets attached in the blink of an eye. But in the same amount of time, she could be done and onto the next best thing.
She comes across very young for her age. She may be 21 but most people easily mistake her for a 16 year old at youngest. Although she’s very independent and has worked and fought for her place in an expensive academy, she’s still very childish and naïve. She also depends on having other people around her a lot more than anybody would even those who actually are 16.

Karlie is a virgin but doesn’t lack any dating experience. She’s been dating since she turned sixteen and her friends pushed her into it. The only difference was that while they were all having sex, Karlie was finding it hard to click with the right person.
Finn comes from a single-parent house hold with one older brother. His mum worked as a nurse and picked up so many extra shifts to be able to support her sons. But Finn’s older brother Jacob was a big reason as to why Finn became violent as soon as he hit puberty and found his strength. Jacob joined the army as soon as he was old enough, and as a stereotypical guy, whenever he was home for a visit, he was toughening his brother up and beating on him to make him stronger. This was all very normal and brother’s being brother’s until Jacob was killed while on a tour.
Finn’s grief bubbled into anger and with his strength, they ended up a very bad combination. He’d flip out over nothing most of the time. He had the shortest fuse and would always get himself into trouble. He’d hit his mum, his friends, strangers in school, even girlfriends at some point. And although it was obvious to some that he had anger issues, nobody realised just how deep it went. They didn’t know he’d hit girlfriends and his mother.
After he broke his mum’s last straw, she had words with his academy. They came to a secret agreement that he needed space away from the people he knew and his mum needed a break. He wasn’t offered a chance to be an exchange student for experience and fun, he was pushed into it so they could get rid of him. They all hoped he’d like it enough to stay away permanently.
PERSONALITY TRAITS:
Finn is extremely violent. its a secret but also not really because he definitely hits his breaking point very often. He’s never been picky with who he snaps at, whether its a guy best friend, a stranger, a family member or even a girlfriend.
Its not typical for guys to be into modelling, especially someone like Finn. However, he loves it. He loves putting on different faces and different emotions. He feels like it’s an easy way of being an actor. He can be or show the world anyone, but its only for a moment frozen in time.

He was kicked out of his home recently after his anger had him physically attack his mother. It wasn’t the first time he had but it was definitely the worst. He left her (tw) unconscious and bleeding and if he hadn’t called one of her nurse friends/colleagues for help, she would have died.

Louisa Carmichael (Lou) is the oldest daughter of Kendall and Mason Carmichael. After their very hard time conceiving, they decided to adopt. For the longest time, Louisa had no idea that her parents weren't her biological parents. She learned the truth when she turned thirteen and began asking questions about things she had found. They were honest with her, and she ended up taking it in the best way possible. Louisa loved them and according to her, they were her mum and dad, they were her family and she had no interest in knowing any different.
(A few years after they adopted her, IVF gave Kendall and Mason Victoria. But it was very soon after she gave birth that Kendall accidentally fell pregnant with Peter, without even trying. It was a miracle. They had given up on having their own children without help etc, and they’d made peace with having their two girls. So when they got a boy, he became the light of their life. They deny it but there’s definitely a sense that Peter is the favourite, closely followed by Louisa and Victoria has a very strong sense of middle child syndrome.)
Much like Peter, Louisa was extremely spoilt growing up, arguably more so than her siblings, at least until they came along. Her upbringing, while as Carmichael-y as it comes, was relatively normal. And she, like her father, was the epitome of down to earth and hardworking. And like her mother, she was extremely acting driven. Although, the one trait she got from her parents that outshined the others most of the time, was Kendall’s short-temper. Louisa was a control freak, despite the fact she had the kindest heart.
(TW) Louisa fell in love young, and at nineteen, even ended up married. Jackson was her soulmate, first loves and completely besotted with each other. Nobody could deny it, not even their families. Even though her parents severely disapproved how young they were, how quickly they rushed into it and how they did it behind everyone’s back, eloping in secret. They spent four years together, but on her 24th birthday, Louisa got a phone call that changed everything. On his way to her party, he was hit by a car and died instantly. Louisa was broken. But she bounced back so quickly, buried everything, and followed her siblings to St Judes to pursue her acting dream.

Victoria/Peter C - She’s their oldest sibling (although she’s adopted and they’re not) she loved them, deep down, but she’s also extremely independent so she definitely doesn’t check in nearly as much. She knows Peter is on a bit of a bad-guy phase, and victoria is also very angry at the entire family and going through a lot, and of course she cares and wants to look after them... she just doesn’t. A lot of her own stuff seems to always come first.
Fleur - Cousin/high school best friend with backstabbing motives. They’re very competitive despite the fact they’re on different career paths, it’s more competing for attention from the public, the fans and even their own families to some extent. Together they’re best friends but separately they talk shit about each other subtly behind each other’s back.
Youi - They both go to liberty and since then they’ve formed an unlikely friendship. While Youi was in the friend group in high school that Louisa avoided, the popular girls picking on others (including louisa’s little sister victoria) louisa was popular mainly for her last name. But she was almost too sophisticated to get involved with any drama. But now Youi and Louisa are really good friends.
Belle - They’re cousins but Louisa is almost like a big sister type who tries to keep her grounded while she has her Paris Hilton off the rails phase.
Daisy - Her roommate at Liberty and Lou has discovered Daisy’s illness is back. Once she realises nobody else knows, she worries for her. So she secretly starts anonymously sending doctors letters to people close to her.
Darcy - Also cousins but Louisa is definitely the closest to Darcy, they’re basically best friends. They’ve been there for each other through everything, through Louisa losing her husband, and Darcy with her parents.
Emmett - Her first boyfriend, before Jackson/she got married. They dated very young and it ended not long before she got with Jackson, but after he died, Louisa got closer with Emmett again. And with her new found closed off attitude to any potential of love, they’ve started hooking up no strings attached whatsoever. At least on her side anyway.
Jay - a Liberty friendship. They’re both popular without being part of the bitchy/asshole crowd and they kinda met in that way.
Lottie - Old friends, they grew up together and throughout life they got distant. Despite ending up at the same academy. They’re the kind of friends that can get super distant but even if they haven’t talked in forever, they fall back into their friendship easily and are always there for each other.
