Thomas and Friends S23 Ep7: Gordon Get the Giggles
So this is the episode that was quite the talk a few months ago... eh, it’s decent. To me, it just seems to be another episode in a growing line showing Gordon going downhill. Frist Forever and Ever and now this one.
Thomas and Friends S23 Ep6: Batucada
Bit of a mixed bag of an episode. Don’t get me wrong it was a decent episode. But there were a few flaws to it. For example, this may seem like a nick-pick, but fact that the engine parts were not strapped down was key to the plot. Now I don’t really know about Railway rolling stock but should the brake van have ATLEAST one door (having the band hang out at the end felt unsafe)
Thomas and Friends S23 Ep4: The Other Big Engine
The first episode in Brazil, not bad. I found it good that they didn’t focus on Gabriela (aka Gina-replica) but instead the most unique one of the two, Gustavo.
Speaking of Gustavo, I like the fact that Thomas compared him to his surdian friends. It really helps me when it comes to my fantasy!AU. He’ll most likely be a centaur, but I can also pull ideas from magic and plants for him.
Thomas and Friends S23 Ep3: Chucklesome Trucks
This episode was clearly trying to do some fan service, but then it goes and fucks it up but having the EXACT same engine pull the EXACT same accidents. Also, the moral doesn’t much too much sense. Something along the lines of ‘learning from your mistakes’ or ‘not get distracted when working’ would have fitted much better. Especially the latter since that what caused Thomas to become late. There’s wholesome obliviousness, and then there’s stupidity that Rebecca showed.
Thomas and Friends S23 Ep2: Crowning Around
Could have been a lot worst. We did get not one, but two dream sequences! Does this mean we will have an episode without one? Probably not.
Thomas and Friends S23 Ep1: Free The Roads
Sometimes I feel like you shouldn’t take episodes of Thomas too seriously. Especially when it comes to these newer seasons. That’s why I spent most of the episode laughing, going “wat going on?”, but in a good way.
Anyway, this was a great way to start the season. Now if you excuse me, I’ve got to go and draw an evil Percy.

Prime example of episode that is for toddlers. But hey, I was able to use a lot of my number stickers.
