So many projects im following have people harrassing devs for "not being fast enough" "oh it cant host evrybody yet" "oh nooo it doesnt have as many capabilities yet" Okay, you try. YOU. FUCKING TRY. You make an app that can host everything you wish. On top of that, with hundreds to maybe even thousands of people constantly bomBARDING you with "Why isnt there [x] progress yet?"

App development is so hard. As someone who dabbled with the odea of making apps or games or whatnot, coding is hard?? it takes SO much time.

stop bombarding developers. ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING SO MANY APPS OR SITES SO FAR ARE IN BETA.

oh and so i dont forget

STOP HARRASSING DEVELOPERS.

also. Just because you might not like a developer or what theyve done in the past, that STILL DOESNT MAKE HARRASSING OTHERS OKAY. even if the dev made a huge mistake or had character growth is literally anything, you dont get to harrass someone else. Theyre still a person like you. Theyre still alive and on this planet we share like you.

I just wanted to say that Scratch ( and we as developers) have a strong stance *against* using and having generative AI build tools for the plural community. No matter how little the generative AI is used in the project.

Scratch and all of our tools are built with 0 AI, including any from of AI assistance.

Also as a bit of transparency - we make absolutely nothing off of this project. We don’t even get enough donations to cover the servers month to month.

Who ever attempted to doxxed us, that’s not going to stop us from continuing to work on our project, we care too much for something like that to stop us. While it’s sad to watch and read what some parts of this community say about other devs like the devs of SP an octocon. There is no reason for that much hate to be directed at anyone person who is taking time out of their day and life to build something for the community only to have said community rip you to shreds and or threaten you. Thats not okay. Thats why projects get shutdown is because of how the community As a WHOLE acts.

Update for Scratch

Soooooooo been a while and we have been busy we are working on a full new UI a lot of new features mobile apps and a bunch of other stuff Currently doing a public beta test for 1.6.0 please join the discord if you would like to join the beta and help us test (update is targeted to be next week but might be later)

Did you know that you could use full html + css, *and* mix it with markdown in your member bios in ScratchFront?

The member bios have a max length of 4 Billion characters (that’s longer then both the Odyssey *and* Iliad combined)

And you can use nearly unlimited CSS and HTML to make your bios how ever you want.

Not all changes or bug fixes are in this announcement This update is very similar to the 1.4 because of the issues with that deployment that were fixed.
