In the movie, when Tootie finally is out of town, she calls her mom, who tells her that her cousin Tootie is now home, and that Tootie thinks her whole life was over. Apparently, Tootie is a really good person. In The Great Gatsby, she has an evil twin, L.A.'s, in that she's the main person to tell Tootie and everyone else that she really doesn't care.
