Very silly title is silly, and I’ve actually had this piece sitting in my folder for a while now so I just thought ‘Eh, even if I’m not super into MLP like I once was, I can still upload some of the art I drew for it’.

So there you go.

This KIND OF relates to my previous small series where I drew the Equestrian Princesses as magical girls from anime. Since I completed that set I wanted to include Sunset Shimmer and Starlight Glimmer in some fashion but I couldn’t really think of another magical girl anime that would suit them.

Then I watched Kill la Kill and the colour schemes just seemed so fit so well and...yup, that’s the reasoning for it.

My next cosplay that I am working on - Wendy from Don't Starve! I still need to find blank contact lenses and fix the wig a little but it's all most finished. Not sure which con I'll debut her at, maybe Play Expo.
