How hard would Gray have to try to kill the Thunder Fang? Or Overlord?
He wouldn't be able to fully kill them! It starts to drain his own energy the longer lifespan (or overall power) his target has. So for immortal all-powerful type beings like that, his attempts at draining their lifeforce would probably just act as a distraction or irritant to them.
He could imbue them with a terminal illness, but depending on the laws of their immortality, it might not affect them unless inhabiting a more vulnerable form. (*cough* this will become relevant soon)
