Bright Eclipsis is a two player, play-by-post game about two alien pilots crashing into the same derelict rock and needing each other in order to survive. It is a game about communication, and building a connection with someone who doesn’t speak your language. It is a game about learning to understand each other anyways.

It's also a hack of There is a Light at the Edge of the World by momatoes and was inspired by media like Void Rivals, Scavengers Reign, Star Trek, and Project Hail Mary!

re-listening to archive 81 and thinking abt how ratty is a stand in for the audience in season 1 and rat is a stand in for the audience in season 2

dan talking to ratty in a way that really sounds like hes talking to us, ratty seemingly trying to keep dan safe but also refusing to leave the archives (because we want to know what comes next). ratty only talking to dan in squeaks (cause its a rat) so we can pretend its saying whatever we want it to be saying

rat remaking dan into what he thinks dan should be based on his knowledge of dan from season one. making it so dan can listen to and record tapes forever for him us. rat having the most insane parasocial relationship with dan of all time, loving and obsessing over dan and asking dan to call him rat . like ratty. because ratty was us and rat was us and rat is us.
