“Come to pet the goats?”

It’s almost amusing, he thinks, how often one of them ends up coming to Wakanda to visit him, although he does have to admit that he appreciates it. Still, he could probably consider charging a fee and making it a petting zoo, as the goats graze around him contentedly.

Wakanda is peaceful, and beyond doubt, he needed it. It’s given him more peace than he’d ever thought possible, and while it’s certainly not his life plan, he’s making the most of it. He’ll be forever grateful for everything they’ve done for him.

“Been a while since I’ve seen you, Wanda,” he smiles faintly.

     Natasha couldn’t help but wonder what would have happened if she didn’t let Steve and Bucky go, or if she wouldn’t have been there to stop them. Would it have been better? To be with Tony at the compound and wonder where the others were and what they were doing? It would mean she didn’t have to run from authorities... from her friends. But it would also mean she wouldn’t know where the others were and how they were doing. At least this way she could keep an eye on Steve and know where Tony was.

      They just got back from Wakanda. Steve wanted to check on Bucky, even though he was still on ice, it probably calmed him to know he was still there and being kept safe. Natasha really couldn’t blame him, not after everything they have been through. But she also made him promise they would check on Wanda and Vision next. Not being able to do much made the woman nervous. She has been on the run before, in hiding for mission, but this was different. 

     However some of that tension eased up when she saw Wanda. The girl did great at blending in with the people on the street and it filled Natasha with a bit of a pride - she taught her well. “Good to see you.” She offered the girl a small smile as she walked up to her. “I assume everything has been good here?” When they decided to split up - it was easier to hide in smaller groups, they settled on a distress signal they would send the others when they were in trouble. Every time one of their phone’s got a notification her heart skipped a beat. But so far there was no trouble.

There was no actual mission today, not as such. Today, he was assigned to simply guard, and deal with subjects if situations escalated. The subject in question was prisoner #64921, a girl by the name of Wanda Maximoff, one that had been just introduced to the mind stone, a new and unstable source of power. It was understandable that extra security was put in place. Better safe than dead. 

Stood to the side, vacant eyes watched as scientists went about their tests, an hour passing before the Winter Soldier escorted them to an empty room, a training room of sorts. Head turned a fraction as the lead scientist stopped just behind him, order given to test her ability to fight and use her powers. 

With a faint incline of his head, he moved farther into the room, closer to Wanda. Silence hung heavy in the air for a long moment, observing the female’s state ( it didn’t matter if she was weak or scared, an order was an order ) before a sudden fist flew at her, and another, aggressive and without mercy.

8. Does your muse tend to bottle things up? 9. What is one thing that would break your muse?

Ok I think it's easy to say he not only bottle things up but it's basically the exclusive way in which he deals with emotional problems. Yeah, he lashes out to the people he cares about sometimes and he may cry when he’s alone every once in a while, but overall he’s not good with dealing with anything emotion related, his own OR others.

As for what would break him, that’s easy: breaking his oath. He swore to heal, to cure, to protect and save lives, to kill another human being would break him easily. He doesn’t cope well with death, even his enemies. So, even if it’s incidental, even if it’s in self defense, he would feel awlful. which is why endgame is garbage and not part of main canon

Dude, I love reading your threads. Your Bucky is absolutely amazing and full of character. It's so interesting to see your take on him. I hope we can do some more writing sometime!
