Black, white, and green for the ask game.
Ask game: Tell me what you associate me with.
The black and white are on point, I think, but the green is very interesting because it's actually one of my least favorite colors! But maybe it's because of aromanticism? It's the main color in the aro flag (accompanied by black and white, too :D)... Even tho, I myself don't really care about the whole flag stuff in general, so I don't usually reblog any posts that are solely about the lgbt+ flags etc. But yeah, very interesting indeed!
Thanks for the ask!
Blue and pink (because of your Discord and Tumblr), as well as Rick, Kevin, and Alan. Also capslock and keysmashes. 😂
YEAHHHH 💪💪💪 HSHAJHEJF i never realize how often i type in all caps lmfao i really just be yelling all the time 💀💀💀💀💀 but YESS RICK AND KEVIN 😭😭🤲🤲❤️❤️❤️ the little guys!! and i could act like i hate alan but you know i’d be lying 💔 smh
Bottom for the ask game, you simp 😉
EEEEE MY FIRST EVER ASK THANK YOU REBECCA 🤲🤲🤲
blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most): this comes as no surprise to anybody but 😭 richie!!!! i love richie a lot he's just a really interesting character to me tbh i love his personality and the way he does things even if he is a bit insane lmfao
scrunkly (my “baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped): ONCE AGAIN HSJKDFJJHSK EVERYBODY SAW THIS COMING BUT RICHIE FOR SURE 💔💔 he is actually so pretty like his hair 🥺🥺 i will literally be watching bottom sometimes and richie will do something and i'll literally audibly be like "awww" can't believe this 💀💀
scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave): honestly eddie's kinda my underrated fave, there's very little characters besides the main two in this show so there's not a lot to choose from but lmfao i really like eddie a lot, he's a bastard but a lot of the show's comedy comes from dumb shit that eddie does so we can thank him for that 🙏
glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won’t shut up about it for a week): these names are really funny LMFAO BUT ANYWAY honestly i like dick the barman a lot, he only appears in a few episodes but he's funny and he's always so done with their shit 💀💀 also i kinda like kate from the first episode!! when richie was asking her what her "little name" was and she was like "my little name's kate today, same as it was yesterday" like hell yea you get em girl
poor little meow meow (“problematic”/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave): richie is genuinely my poor little meow meow he is a literal dumbass and, as eddie would say, talks a tremendous amount of bollocks, but honestly deep down he just wants to be loved 💔 he just like me fr
horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason): both richie and eddie LMFOSJDSKJF NEITHER OF THEM ARE SAFE i would definitely fuck with them just for the sake of it 💀💀
eeby deeby (character I would send to superhell): honestly everybody in this show kinda deserves to go to superhell but i can't think of anybody specific 💔 they're safe for now
can you tell i really like bottom lmfao whoops
44!
Ask game: weird asks because I'm bored
Thanks! I actually already answered this in another ask, so I'll copy-paste the answer and modify it a bit to be easier to understand when not in a fandom! :D
44. do you collect anything?
I do, I’m such a collector nature that I’m constantly collecting something. Right now mostly:
stuff related to my favorite band 'die ärzte' (which is not that easy while being from and living in Finland)
CDs
vinyl records
movie DVDs and Blu-rays and tv-series etc.
comics
books to some extent…
Usually I have like, a narrow section from all these from which I then try to collect as much or everything possible. E.g. I don’t have that big of a collection of comics in general, but I do have a big collection of the comics I collect (e.g. Garfield, or Lucky Luke, or Asterix etc.), if that makes any sense :D
24 for the asks!
[history asks]
24. What made you fall in love with history?
No joke, I was raised this way. My parents both love history, so growing up we often visited historical sites, homes, battlefields, etc. when we were on vacation. I was generally bored in the houses as a child, but I enjoyed the battlefields; I used to collect little artillery pieces from the ones I visited.
As I grew up and it became increasingly apparent that I wouldn't have a sciences career due to my inability to handle math the way it was being taught to me in school, I shifted gears towards history. Admittedly, it was the Sharpe series that got me there; I'd been enjoying Lord of the Rings, related to Boromir's desire to protect his younger brother because I also have a younger brother, and found out about other things Sean Bean did (he played Boromir in the films). I devoured the Bernard Cornwell books and watched the ITV movies. I was obsessed and I can still infodump about the 95th Rifles to this day. It's been over a decade.
I went on to do my undergraduate degree at Gettysburg College - I majored in history, and more importantly minored in American Civil War Era Studies. My interest in military history - and history in general - is the people, the everyday people. I wrote my undergraduate thesis on an individual soldier who was court-martialed at Gettysburg for perceived cowardice (he actually had rheumatism - probably arthritis - and was already in his 30s, had to stop to rest, and couldn't catch up; he was let off because of previous good service). Every single one has a unique story. Every single one has friends, a family...possible descendants...
War has a very human toll. Soldiers die, civilians die, many people become disabled (and then aren't supported adequately by their governments and communities), people live with trauma for the rest of their lives...governments wage war, but people fight and are traumatized and die. Real people. Their stories are important to me, especially the stories we don't normally get to hear in the historical record as it's presented to us in textbooks - women, non-white people, disabled people, LGBTQIA+ people...that's crucial to my work as an archivist.
I don't do much military history these days - my actual focus is comedy history - but it taught me that the important thing isn't the battles or the weapons but the people, and the social history of military history was arguably the most interesting part to me in the end. History is made up of people, just like us, and we're part of that story, too.

Sorry I'm a bit late, but better late than never, right? :D
Thank you ^^ For both the ask AND the choice in the ask game :D
📌 and ⏱️ for the fanfic asks! ~ neil-neil-orange-peel :D
Thanks for the ask! :D For the past 12 years I have only been writing fanfiction about my fave band die ärzte, so if and when you're not familiar with them, I hope I can still explain these so that they also make at least some sense :D

📌 If all your fics/WIPs fell off a ship and were drowning (go with it), and you could only save one, which would it be?
Oh this is difficult. Do I choose the one I like the most, or the one that has the most words but is still a WIP? I think I'm going to go with the WIP. It just has so much content in it that I'd never be able to remember everything I have already written, whereas my favorite one is quite short and probably something I would be able to rewrite if needed. (And yes, I have only one WIP because I have just been stacking every idea into the same file lmao)
---
⏱ What’s the fic you spent the most time on? (Was it worth it lol)
I think I have to answer this one with that WIP, too. I don't remember how long or short it took to write my older fanfics, but the new ones I have usually been able to finish in like... a few days or weeks, depending on the story. I haven't written actual longfics in ages (I wrote those for my previous fandom) and the current WIP I originally started in 2012 but then magically stopped writing fanfiction, until I got back to it in 2018.
I have been adding stuff and editing this WIP ever since, and it's already over 45k words long. I have never posted a word of it anywhere, and mainly have just been writing for myself. Which is also why it's been fun to write because I don't need to think how people perceive the text (or me), but I can just... write whatever I want. Or more like: I can just write whatever I want to READ. I don't necessarily want to even write, I originally started writing only because I could not find the content I wanted to read so I had to start writing it myself. Aka the old story of why people write fanfiction...
And I don't know if it's been worth it. I guess? At least I can see my progress as a "writer", and I can say that I have written many of the things much better than what I would have been able to do, say, 10-15 years ago.
