How about a little bit of httyd?
Some underrepresented dragons! I’ll do more soon :3
I’m so happy that people like my Httyd art, and I love to create it! If you want to see any specific dragon, comment it and it’ll be next!
I made stickers of my next gen and I am so happy with how they turned out! <333
(not including the next gen ages 14 to 16, I might do them another time tho)
Some Star Trek Original Series headcanons:
Kirk- Stormcutter. They're clever, proud, skilled leaders, and have a bit of a playful streak, much like the famous starship captain
Spock- Silver Phantom. Mysterious, elusive, and serene, but when they do fire, it's incredibly hot and explosive. Feels like a good metaphor for a Vulcan
McCoy- Buffalord. Being a self-proclaimed "old country doctor" who's none too thrilled about being dragged into the dangers of space, I'd say he could easily find a kindred spirit in a cattle-like healing dragon who does NOT like to leave their comfort zone
Uhura- Dramillion. If Hiccup's flaming sword is any indication, fire can be a powerful tool to communicate and connect with dragons, so a species that can perfectly mimic others' fire seems like a fitting parallel to a skilled linguist in charge of the ship's communication
Scotty- Shovelhelm. Friendly dragons who love to build things and find creative solutions to problems, having one as a friend on the ship would be a great help to the "miracle worker" engineer
Sulu- Changewing. They're curious and love to copy what they see, and Sulu is also known to pick up a lot of different hobbies. One of his more prominent hobbies was his botany that involved strange and somewhat dangerous plants, and Changewings are skilled at using their camouflage and leaf-frills to disguise themselves among nature, so I could easily picture him taking in a "new plant species" that turns out to be an acid-breathing dragon
Chekov- Scuttleclaw. The youngest among the main cast, he sometimes runs into problems due to inexperience, but he's energetic and talented in a way that can often prove an asset as well, making the young dragons described as a "hyperactive powerhouse" a good fit
Kirk from Star Trek would ride a Stormcutter!
Spock from Star Trek would ride a Silver Phantom!
McCoy from Star Trek would ride a Buffalord!
Uhura from Star Trek would ride a Dramillion!
Scotty from Star Trek would ride a Shovelheim!
Sulu from Star Trek would ride a Changewing!
Chekov from Star Trek would ride a Scuttleclaw!
Whatever

Scuttleclaw
Natural Lifespan: 50 – 60 years
Average Lifespan: 5– 15 years
Diet: Fish
Fire type: Green copper fire
Closest relative: Deadly Nadder
Predators: Everything that’s bigger, faster or sneakier than them (So, basically almost everything)
----
Their coloring is sex based. Females have earthly tones as to blend in their environment when they're sitting on their clutch. Males are more colorful as a display for the females. They do not mate for life. The females only take care of their young for up to a year, max two years, afterward they seek out another male to reproduce with.
They work a lot like chickens, laying unfertilized eggs at least once a month. Therefore, some clans keep them as stock. Other clans see it as cruel to keep them as farm animals.
Unless kept as a farm animal or a mode of transport, having their owner be the one to protect them. These dragons are known for being the main food source for other dragon-eating dragons. They are usually compared to rats; they breed fast and they’re everywhere. No island is void of their loud squawking.
The males are usually the ones to get hunted first because their coloring, but the females aren’t safe either. Their camouflage is good enough to trick only some species. Once they’re spotted, they do not have a way to protect themselves against most dragons. Their talons and teeth are the only thing they can use to defend themselves, but they do not succeed most of the time. Their fire, despite its green coloring, is quite low temperature, only being 1000°C. These temperatures aren’t enough to disable predators, only deter them for short amounts of time.
House MD x HTTYD
Ready for more House dragon lore?? OKAY!
Chase fled his village after befriending a Changewing, Maisy , and let’s be real his dad is a SOB. He’s the last of the group to join the crew.
Cameron fled after her husband died getting lost in the woods and coming across a young abandoned and starving Death gripper. Notorious for being difficult to train and being extremely dangerous she took it upon herself to nurse it to health, it trusts Cameron completely and is honestly a complete puppy attitude. Realizing how severely misunderstood dragons are got on a boat and left with her death gripper. Later running into Foreman and House.
Wilson adopts a wounded amputee Terrible Terror, reminding him of House (who’s been missing at this point) names the little guy Hector. Once realizing dragons aren’t so bad he slowly introduces his knowledge to village chief Cuddy. While his adopted son, Kutner is all for the change, his adopted daughter/kid Thirteen is less so.
Thirteen was orphaned by a dragon raid leaving her alone when House and Wilson took her in, already having a Viking strong hatred towards the beasts months later House would disappear presumably killed by a Boneknapper.
Kutner a few months after this was also orphaned, Wilson taking him in.
Wilson while already having Hector ends up becoming a rider of a Scuttleclaw.
{{UPDATE HOUSE’ BONEKNAPPER IS NAMED LUPUS}}
