Her eyes narrow at her friend, part of her most definitely tempted to simply chuck the remote at his head; she refrained, however, once she realised it wouldn’t be a good idea to injure a paramedic. “And, by the way, readin’ the information before hand takes away the mystery of what you’re about t’get yourself into.”

   “A paradox? For me?” Rudy’s brows lowered as he peered over at the inmate. He shouldn’t have been curious but still, it wasn’t everyday he got posed a question of logic, rather than health. Straightening up in his chair, he nodded, gesturing for her to continue.    “Go on then. This paradox?”

       Nyx looked down silently when the doctor showed an interest in the statement. She didn’t exactly think before she declared that she had a paradox. Then again, she didn’t think before a lot of things. 

       “People here are treated like little devils, even when they haven’t done anything wrong.”She wasn’t an idiot, she knew there were bad people in the prison. But she also believed some were set up. And lastly she believed some people, like herself, only did what they had to do.

Jane maintains the opinion that blind dates are IDIOTIC, and yet here she is -- not in her uniform for once, hair down and makeup perfect. These are the lengths she has to go to, just to stop her roommate screaming at her to meet the ‘cute paramedic’. How could Sasha even ask a paramedic for his number for a friend, anyway? How was that situation NOT weird?

                    Oh god. He probably already thinks she’s weird. 

She’s considering just giving up and leaving when she sees somebody walk in who matches the description Sasha gave her (though ‘cute, blue eyes, brown hair’ could be anybody). And just like that, she’s intrigued. Cute was definitely the right word for him. Jane waves to draw his attention, and gives him a shy smile.

       “Rudy, right?”

     Seina can barely hear anything going on around her with the pounding in her ears, the rushing of... the rushing of the extra life force in her veins. She hardly registers someone wrapping a blanket around her shoulders, or walking her over to sit in the back of.... an ambulance? Tugging the blanket tighter around herself, she shakes the haze from her eyes enough to look around for her backpack. Which is... nowhere she can see. It sends a panic through her, and she starts trying to get up to go in search of it. She needs to leave, before They find her again.
