Griamore could have been such a great character but the author wasted all the potential he had.

He could have a great character development he was really weak as a kid and hated it but got stronger with his training but he was still behind gilthunder and howzer

His magic is amazing but It can get weaker depending on how he feels

In the manga he saw his own father die in front of him then learns he was possessed by a demon for 10 years so the entire time he never was with his father and he didn't notice (he probably felt guilty)

It could've been a trigger for him like making him strong stronger than his father and becoming a great master holy knight just like Dreyfus once wished for that place but then his son takes that place making him really proud

It could've been a really good thing being weak then trough determination and hard work surpassing everyone (not the seven deadly sins)

But instead he stayed a background character barely being there he barely had any interaction with the character even gilthunder (they're cousins i mean come on)

In the training he just turned into a kid and that's it it doesn't have a purpose except the kiss with veronica to confirm they love each other ( like no one noticed) and us learning his biggest fear was his past as a weak child

He could've asked diane to help him get stronger since she is the one who broke his barrier or something

He falls behind even more he doesn't get better or stronger i know he isn't a main character but a lot of background character got development so he is still a wasted character to me

I'm not satisfied with howzer being great master either cause it was so random to me idk why like i know Dreyfus and hendrickson didn't want this place anymore but still it felt weird cause after that he doesn't even have an important role so yeah
