OMG I can't believe you're a Harvey fan too. Thank you!!! excellent news!!! immediately after the last post after being housed in a temp room, I was surprised with the news that i was going to be moved in with my neighbor - the past few days have been sent settling in and being really hyper and giddy because we're both really relieved at how things have turned out

i've gotten good news elsewhere too, my disability hearing is approaching and my talk with my lawyer went well, and I've moved up on waitlists for my own space with support

Fate just REAAAALLY like to yank me around, historically . I just deadass do not have spoons to process it lol

Thank you anon - things did actually end up turning up pretty immediately after my post! My counselor was able to arrange things so i could actually move in with someone who's very similar in terms of being very careful and considerate of boundaries - who is also a good friend, probably the only one I have here

I've been living with them for a couple days now and it's been very calm. Just still dealing with aftershocks and not really processing stuff quite yet.

i really appreciate how people have been sending well wishes about all this, I'm just sorry I couldn't write about it earlier, it's been a truly exhausting time but things ARE better and there is progress being made.

I'll be back here again hopefully next week! my spoons are all over the place :p but thank you again!!

I learned that's not even just like, an ethical responsbility but you can legit get in legal trouble if you expose minors to adult content with a blog. I mean it makes sense like yeah of COURSE, but seeing that just solidifies my derision even more for people who still fucking interact with blogs screaming about that boundary and that important action while actively being unmarked OR EVEN STATING THEY'RE A MINOR

good luck anon poking my head back in to say that the post you're referencing is from before tumblr had tag blocking functionality (you used to need user extensions to do it). tumblr's system for tag blocking does exact matches only - so for kink blacklisting i usually have to have "#[kink name]" and "#[kink name] kink" blocked. it also seems to check the tags earlier users in the reblog chain used, for some reason

That's another thing that cramped my tumblr usage, how horrible the website's gotten just on a technical level

well, maybe in that case maybe I'll try to tag CW and TW in the actual body of text rather than through the tagging system, and then for tags I'll just use for blog organization/navigation.

I'll try to remember to formulate my tag masterlist post to instruct that as well so we can all have a better experience :p
