In honor of Mermay, gonna share the MANY concept doodles i've done for my idea of Creature Simon, and while he's more so a sea creature then mermaid shhhhhh we don't gotta get into technicalities-

I'm actually gonna start tho with the doodles i did BEFORE the movie came out! Back when it was known as "Confish" and...what can I say i love me some creature, but that explains why there's some inaccuracies in this bunch:

And now we got the ones i did AFTER the movie!! So these are much more accurate!

Oh and uh bonus Convineer at the last doodle cause I say so >:/

But yeah- As you can tell been experimenting A LOT with this design, BUT think i'm getting close to a look i really like! Dw i'll be sure to post the full ref of what I got when I get it locked in! Especially cause it's gonna be used in the ISWM crossover fic i'm writing (which can be read here cough cOUGH COUGH) ....spoiler i guess for that but uh shhhhh it can be our little secret-

I bet Monster critter Simon is probably somewhat cold-blooded. Lays ontop of knight and cursed lady, like large cat. Warm that fishie up.
