What is your opinion about sea level rising?
Global sea level has been rising over the past century, and the rate has increased in recent decades. Sea level continues to rise at a rate of about one-eighth of an inch per year.
As humans put more heat-trapping gases into the atmosphere, like carbon dioxide, ice around the planet melts. This melting can be a problem, particularly if the melting ice starts its life on land. That’s because the melt water flows into the oceans, contributing to rising sea levels. Right now there are three main reasons that sea levels are rising. First, as ocean waters heat, they expand. Second, melting of ice in Antarctica flows into the ocean. Third, melting of ice on Greenland flows into the ocean. There is other melting, like mountain glaciers, but they are minor fact.
Our opinion sea level rising is: We need to make dramastic changes of our way of lifestyle, for example: shorter showers, electric cars instead of cars driven on fuel, the heater on coal, eat the food you buyed instead of throwing it away, green energy. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. because of co2 release we have to take these consequences.

What causes the sea level to rise?
Human activities, like cutting down rain forest, meat production, use of oil and coal, and even use of hairspray, causes the climate to warm up. So you get global warming.
After the Industrial Revolution the temperature of the earth rose. Rising temperatures are warming ocean waters, which expands the ocean.
Maybe you already know, but the global warming increased. There is less snow in the winter, the ocean warms up, glaciers, land ice and ice caps melt. All this happens because of global warming, if the gobal warming increases the more the sea level will increase also a lot more because of all the ice that is melting.

@Regrann from @natgeo - Photograph by @paulnicklen // Almost 90 percent of an iceberg (or “ice mountain”) is underwater. The foot or underwater portion of this iceberg could be at well over 200 feet deep. Icebergs are stunning to look at but they are a reminder that glaciers are receding and ice shelves in Antarctica are breaking up faster than we ever thought possible. If all of Antarctica and Greenland melted, global sea level could rise by as much as 230 feet, covering all of the major coastal cities in the world. Whether you believe climate change is caused by humans or not, do you think it is worth erring on the side of caution and reducing our carbon footprint? #followme on @paulnicklen to see what these icebergs look like underwater. #antarctica #sealevelrising #iceberg #ice #climatechangeisreal #nature #naturelovers #photooftheday @thephotosociety @natgeopristineseas #regrann
