Posting about B&PC AGAIN because I keep rewatching it… One aspect of the show I love is how some characters (Cas and Violet) are put off by peoples bodies and being in physical contact with them.
It’s a very unremarkable detail but I loved to see it bc it was so relatable. It’s one of those details only a show as lofi as B&PC would even bring up and I appreciate it!
One of my favourite aspects of B&PC is how everyone seems so unfulfilled in their career. It really added to the pervasive sadness I felt going through the show. Rowell’s failing restaurant especially hit close to home in some ways…
Another thing that struck me was when the warlocks themselves didn’t even like their job of hunting puppycat. A job they got purely out of nepotism, with no real stakes or personal benefit to them. It’s like… what’s the point? That’s all really I’ve been thinking about this too long and thought it was cool.
