Talk about an exciting way to end a winning streak against Baseball's hottest team. Oakland Athletics starting pitcher Sean Manaea threw the season’s first no-hitter against the Boston Red Sox by the score of 3-0. Taking only 108 pitches and two hours 16 minutes, Manaea outdueled Boston Red Sox ace Chris Sale. Manaea struck out 10 while walking only two. This is the first Oakland A's no- hitter since Dallas Braden threw a perfect pitch against the Tampa Bay Rays on May 9, 2010. This is also the first no-hitter against the Boston Red Sox since Chris Bosio of the Seattle Mariners no-hit Boston 7-0 almost 25 years ago to the day on April 22, 1993. The game had some controversy with an error on a play that was deemed questionable and with a reversed call on a slide at first by Andrew Benintendi. I'm sure many in Red Sox Nation will be burning up the airwaves in the days to come. Aside from that, can't take away the amazing performance from Sean Manaea. This could be the shining point in the 2018 season for the A's. #SeanManaea #OaklandAthletics #NoHitter #BostonRedSox #BaseballHistory #HistoriaDelBeisbol #Baseball #Beisbol #BaseballSisco
