for those of you that do not know me: My name is Gabi and I… Gabi Emerson needs your support for Support Gabi's need for a
gabi is a disabled musician from washington state who i know through the garages, a music group. while the garages as a band was able to fully function online, not all bands and groups can, and very few concert venues would even be willing to try. this means transportation is an issue.
due to [gestures vaguely at the state of the us government right now], gabi's attempts to get on social security disability have been, in faer own words, "lit ablaze," and getting on disability is already a very long and demeaning bureaucratic process.
in order to continue making what meager amounts of money fae can, fae needs a car to be able to travel to gigs, band practices, and actually get to Go Outside. without social security, fae's unable to afford one on faer own. gabi is asking for $4500 total to afford a reliable car that is economical on gas.
