Blaseball confession: I appreciate what the Charleston Shoe Thieves did for me but as soon as I joined the Hellmouth Sunbeams my GPA went up by like a full letter grade

sometimes i look at my hellmouth sunbeams cap and i wonder. over time what will become of it? when blaseball is nothing but a faint echo of fan works and community buried under the shifting dirt of the internet, when my baseball cap that loudly orders “STARE INTO THE SUN” turns up in some thrift store or flea market however many years from now…. will someone wonder what it is? will someone pick it up and laugh, maybe send a picture of it to their friends, wondering what this weird little hat is? the same for the rest of blaseball cares merch that will eventually be spread out in secondhand stores across the world. who will pay $6 for my old sunbeams hat and proudly wear it out with their friends, saying “yeah, man, i don’t know what it is but i thought it was cool,” unknowingly carrying the remnants of this weird little cultural event into a sunlit future it never got to see
