And I’m inventing a 3rd rule where I’m using italics on things that used to be true about me but due to lack of practice/changed priorities aren’t true anymore. (going with sly2o’s wonderful addition and expand it to ‘something that is not always true’ like for example I wear glasses but not always. I wear contacts sometimes or nothing.)

a couple of headers i made this morning bc i missed having a mobile header and i was determined to make one that fit perfectly!! pls like/reblog if you use. credit under the cut for the tutorials/sites i used.

ok so i used this tutorial by @sebbys for help w the gradient and header size and i used this pixel speech bubble editor for the text. i didnt have to make the background transparent for the speech bubble as it does that for you, but while messing around w other speech bubble editors, i found i preferred using befunky’s background tool w the paint/eraser method to the magic wand. i also used the bottom gold/yellow gradient selection instead of the black/white one suggested in the tutorial and used 4 different colors for the gradient. i used html color codes to get the colors from the icon to perfectly match the ones for the header and tumblrs mobile background.

all of these sites are free btw, and i was really excited about the pixlr tutorial vs a photoshop one so extra plus for that share. i did make these headers specifically for the icon im currently using, which was made for me by @starksmas and can be found here.
