"O-oh..." (To catch my muse crying)
Jacques hadn’t been home in what felt like days… in fact, it might have been a week or two before he had made his way back to the house within the Mists. And he seemingly had the worst timing because as soon as he managed to get to the docks the rain had started… and it was coming down in droves, with a helping of loud thunder as lightning shot across the sky above. He was quick to start making his way up the docks and quickly in the direction of the house, sure he could just use one of the many Aetheryte’s there but honestly… he wasn’t feeling that lazy and the rain was feeling a bit good on his skin right now.
Up the stairs, up the ramps and immediately shoving the door open which actually managed to FLING itself open due to the wind blowing in just that right direction. There was a sharp hiss as it hit into the partitions and no doubt if anyone was IN the house they’d have heard it before the Au Ra was able to force the door shut with a heavy huff.
Twelves above he was soaked through and now he was likely going to be dragging water all over the carpet and floor… that he’d likely clean up later to avoid any scoldings that might come out of Shali or the others… he was already prepared for the lectures to come when they finally found him home for once. At least for the time being it seemed he had time to actually undress himself, clean up the mess he made and get some fresh clothes on before anyone might notice.
Making his way to the basement kitchen and loft area he was going about taking off his soaked armor and carefully hooking it up to the nearby mannequin so that it could dry. He’d have to check the underlining later to make sure that it wasn’t going to need to be changed out yet again. Once that was done he was throwing on a quick pair of dry pants and walking to the kitchen to see about grabbing something to eat, if there was anything left over from the meals that he prepared for the companions that usually stopped by.
Jacques managed to grab some remaining roast Dzo and a muffin that happened to be left over before he made his way out to rest at the table. He had started up a pot of tea before leaving the area as well, wanting something fresh and warm to help get the chill of the rain out of his system. It was as the dragon was pulling out the seat that he heard… sniffling? Familiar sniffling…
Immediately the Au Ra was spinning around from the chair and going up the stairs that lead up to the loft where he caught sight of the Keeper and needless to say Sebha’to was getting the man rushing to him and gently cupping his cheeks to wipe away the tears that were flowing “What’s wrong? Who hurt you?” who did he need to murder…?
@skyysinger - Why you make the dragon want to murder someone by making Sebha’to cry 8C Why you so mean…
