I have barely seen anything of it but I am already SO obsessed with the sc Heathers au. I would love to hear more!!
Second coming au ask woah peak :D ok here's just some au rambling stuff :p should also mention this has loads of religious themes(specifically Christianity) 🤫🤫🤫
In this au JD transferred to Westerburgh earlier, before spring break, somewhere in February, so he and Veronica met earlier in this timeline. Veronica thinks he's cool and pretty, so she starts hanging out with him. When spring break comes along, Veronica starts spending more time with JD and less time with the Heathers, becoming more absorbed in his Christianity teachings. After a while, JD becomes convinced Veronica is the second coming of Mary, believing the universe has brought Veronica to him since she's the only girl who's interacted with him this much, because that boy was isolated as hell.🥹 Adding more onto his isolation, it's what led him to believe he's the second coming of God; his separation from other people caused him to only see through his perspective and never learn about others. His way is the only way, so when he sees people do things he personally finds unacceptable, it only just gives him more evidence that he knows better and that he's more superior than others. I would give a more in depth answer, but that's all I got right now.🥹🥹🥹 When meeting Veronica, he believed she needed saving from the sinful ways of the Heathers, thinking that they were corrupting her, pushing her away from God(him) into the devil's arms. Watching how the Heathers treat people, specifically Veronica, he grows to believe Heather Chandler is the Antichrist, and that's why he was sent to Sherwood to kill her and to save everyone. Veronica, already being Christian, not a very religious one, but Christian nonetheless, and JD being a guy shes really into, makes it easier for her to believe JD when he finally tells her he's the second coming of God, and she's the second coming of Mary. Of course, she didn't really believe him right away. She still had her suspicions, but the way he spoke to her so passionately about the world started to convince her. Thats all I currently have aside from some notes and ideas, so I'll just add them here.🥹✌️ All the Heathers are Christians, with Veronica being the least religious, to Mac being the most... well till JD comes along, then Veronica becomes the most religious. I don't know if I want Chandler's death to play out the same, except they killed her intentionally, or if I want her to die from Veronica stabbing her with a crucifix, lots to think about.🤔 JD never goes to get Duke to replace Chandler, so I might have Duke do that on her own to progress the plot or something so I can have JD think Chandler was just a ploy and Duke was the actual Antichrist, or after Chandler's death, the Antichrist took control of Duke. I don't know yet, though things might change.🤫 originally I was going to have JD believe he's the second coming of Jesus Christ. I don't think there's a second coming of God in the bible only Jesus, from what I know, but I felt like making him see himself higher than that. yes JD is a believer that sinners must be punished by death. Yes, guys!! Veronica also never goes to the double date with McNamara because she is extremely loyal to her newfound faith in JD Kurt, and Ram do still end up dying at somepoint somehow...🥹
They don't have official designs yet(maybe never will), and looking back at this doodle rn, it kinda looks like Veronica's arms were chopped off in the more casual clothes doodle. okay that's all I have to say now.🤯🤯🤯
