It was quite nice to see the Second and Third Inspectors getting on like a house on fire
during the events of ‘The Three Inspectors’.
When the action accidentally speeds up in the cliffhanger of ‘The Peace Accords’,
the Inspector just can’t help himself.

Ratings during the Second Inspector era showed a noticeable dip,
even though today Christopher Lee’s portrayal of the Inspector is seen as setting the bar for the character.

Despite the fact that the Second Inspector faced near-death eleven times
during his tenure, the Infinity Knights forced him to reincarnate.
The classic serial ‘The Body Snatcher’ sent the Second Inspector and his Associates
into a bizarre world of fantasy, where they met characters out of fairy tales.
It was a bit odd that the Second Inspector got court-martialed in ‘The Peace Process’,
considering that the military tribunal had no jurisdiction over him and his Associates.
The previously missing Second Inspector serial ‘Love from Above’
has been animated, and it is soon to be released to the public.
