The questions:

Has Pat ever had to drag Sylv to the hospital/actual doctor, despite the latter’s protests? If so, what was the reason?

im still fulfilling my 2 week’s notice at the last job 😅

to answer your questions: Sylv has never gotten sick to the point of Needing to go to a doctor while staying with Pat, until now. Pat has tried to get him to go for a checkup, or go to the dentist, or go to therapy, but Sylv has flat out refused on all levels.

Pat suspects that if they pushed too hard about it, Sylv would remove himself from their life.

If English is your second language,

please never apologize. You know more than one language, which is more than I can say for a good portion of Americans (speaking as an American). Also, seeing English through your point of view, all the weird rules I don’t realize are there because I grew up speaking the language are fascinating. Please ask me questions, please ask me how to say things, please tell me the issues you have. I love this stuff and as a second generation American who is now trying to learn the language of my family, I understand how frustrating it can be trying to communicate when you don’t have full understanding of that language.

My parents are Korean but I don't speak it and can barely read it. My toddler requested a Korean short story at bedtime. I stumbled through a few sentences before he stopped me and said, "Dad is GOOD at this!"
