This is Diná! She’s Delilah’s best friend from the second timeline. Diná is a girl who’s obssessed with conspiracy theories, and thus the one who finds out about Delilah’s status as a living time paradox. She essencially finds the photo of Delilah as a kid with Shadow from the first timeline, and sends both of the girls into a spiral of weirdness.

Diná is loud, weird and overdramatic, but also brave, loyal and full of cheerfulness. She can be pretty annoying when she wants to. They became best friends once she noticed Delilah was pretty self aware of her huge teeth, and started making weird faces to cheer her up. “My teeth are a lot weirder, I even have to use metal wires to put them back in place!”

I love her.

Were svt upset when Minnie and Hanbin got back together or were they more accepting ?

Okay so,

I mean listen. They watched Minnie fall apart right in front of them. Literally breaking down because her heart got broken. And they would never EVER let that happen again.

BUT, they (especially the ‘95 Liners) very much appreciated and respected Hanbin for calling it quits with her before the rumours hit the news and before everyone found out about what he did/didn’t do.

They also knew that they had kept in contact, only not talking to each other for a few months, so they kind of all knew something would probably happen between them again, and they weren’t trying to keep Minnie from it.

Because: they remembered how truly happy Minnie was during the time they were together. Every time she looked at her phone to text him, she was smiling. And they would never want to take that away from her. The guys hoped that Hanbin’s situation would ease up/that the truth would finally be settled so that the couple could be together again as they were before, even though everybody knew some things would definitely change.

So when Minnie and Hanbin settled on trying it again because they were kept from each other for too long and neither of them ever truly lost feelings for the other one, she couldn’t keep it to herself and IMMEDIATELY had to tell the guys. I mean, she would’ve been too easy to read anyways, so she couldn’t have kept it a secret for much longer either way. And they were happy. Happy to see her smile because of love again.

Seungcheol definitely had a little one on one talk with Hanbin, similar to what he had with him when him and Minnie first started dating. But now he just made sure that Hanbin knew what happened to her and what she went through, but the younger one was very quick to assure Cheol of his intentions. The conversation was long, but loving and honest, and since the couple didn’t break up because one fell out of love but because Hanbin wanted to protect Minnie, S.Coups was more than happy to see him be part of the girl’s life again.

Some members, especially Hoshi, Mingyu, and Dino were a bit more careful about the situation though. They definitely had a few talks with Minnie and with Hanbin more specifically, interrogating him literally like they were in a cops tv show and had arrested him, until Minnie came and broke it off.

Joshua and Minghao had a quick quiet check in with him, being the nice and civil people they are.

All of the members talked to him at some point, but most of them kept it lowkey. Most of them.

All in all, all of the members were happy and delighted to see her happy and in love again, but some kept an extra eye out just because you never knew what could happen. They trust Hanbin, but they don’t trust other people that could bring him, and Minnie, down again.

Did Minnie and Hanbin spend New Years and Christmas together ?

Christmas And New Year’s Eve: AE || Minnie

Minnie spent the 24th with Mingyu and Wonwoo, but drove to Hanbin’s place in the evening to spend the night and the 25th with him.

Since knew they would get to see each other easily because Seventeen had to prepare for Weverse Con and Hanbin for his Global Spin performance, they also tried spending more time together pre Christmas, like going to the Epik High concert☺️

After Christmas, time management got stressful. While he was working, she and the group prepared for their New Year’s Eve performance and Minnie accompanied S.Coups when he visited his parents because they’ve been wanting to see her again since she didn’t spend Chuseok with them in this year (because she celebrated with Hanbin’s family). And then later on, Junhao got released from quarantine, so Hanbin understood that she wanted to spend some time with them. BUT she did visit him during his rehearsals AND filming for the Grammy’s Global Spin performance 😊

On New Year’s Eve, Seventeen were part of the Weverse Con, she therefore was on stage when the clock struck midnight.

January 1st was again, celebrating with the members a little bit, but again, she got to stay overnight at Hanbin’s from the 1st to the 2nd and they spent the entire day together🤗

intended to spend my day on other things but my mind is stuck on the whole darkstalker business again. it’s just embarrassing that i as moon was so easily manipulated by someone whose thoughts i could literally hear. i mean i know that’s literally the problem, that’s why it was so easy, because i hadn’t ever seen actual sophisticated defenses before. but. it’s still just. it’s hard.

i don’t remember it very well so even when i do decide to talk about it i couldn’t be detailed if i wanted to. i remember it all through a haze. but i remember i thought i was being so proactive. keeping an eye out, keeping my notes. looking for things that appear or disappear with no explanation or rooms that seem to change shape or size, doors that suddenly lock or aren’t doors anymore at all. crosschecking all my little maps and inventories against old documents. and obviously i was always checking other dragons’ brains. and it STILL took complete removal from the situation for someone to snap me out of it and point out that i wasn’t even making full use of the data i had much less collecting anything that was actually useful. not that that’s all i was doing but… it was really obvious from just a quick look at my notes that i was missing things. really big things.

i know we’re all vulnerable to it. obviously. i also wholeheartedly believe i’m too smart to fall for this shit and always have no matter what proof i receive to the contrary. i know that’s arrogant and dangerous but it FEELS true. and then i end up in these situations where i literally don’t know how much is my own bad decisions and how much is someone else manipulating me and how much is some other potential form of influence. where do you draw the lines?

anyway. i don’t know. it’s over now. and i did what i could to fix it. and i kept doing what i could to fix it forever. i don’t even remember most of it, mostly when i try to remember that period it just feels like endless wandering through empty old hallways punctuated by confusing arguments i can’t quite remember the resolution to. details slip off my brain like water off a duck. so it just. it frustrates me because i know i tried to make up for it but i don’t even know what “it” is. ugh. whatever.

my timelines as moon - the extremely condensed version.

alright. i feel a little self conscious making this post at all, but feel that i should have at least an overview of who i actually was on my blog.

so, when i talk about my timelines, i generally talk about the "first" and "second" timelines. they're named like that because i originally thought there was just one, then realized certain memories contradicted each other, and eventually figured out they were two timelines that just happened to be canon divergent in very similar ways. i kept the names for organizational purposes, but i actually feel a lot more connected to the second timeline... maybe in part because i know so much more about it.

i can sum up the first timeline pretty quickly, honestly. i was born in the rainforest, but within a few weeks, maybe months, mom and i were found and brought back to the volcano. my mind reading was obvious at that age, and, nightwings being nightwings, immediately conceptualized as a tool for others. i got to settle in a bit, although i was never treated like the other dragonets, but by the time i turned one i was being trained to be... basically a living lie detector and intimidation tool. i was used a lot in interrogations, eventually sometimes in torture, but it was really hard for them to get me to go along with that for... obvious reasons. i didn't really have friends, but i got along with deathbringer even though we both kind of creeped each other out because of our jobs. (he was a lot closer to my age than in canon (in both timelines), and would sometimes have to spend pretty long periods of time on the volcano, i'm not sure why.)

i pretty much stayed away from the rainwings being held on the volcano, but i had to go down there at some point, i don't even remember why, they needed some kind of information out of one of the rainwings and were feeling jumpy and didn't want to risk getting venomed i guess. i met kinkajou, she was nicer to me than literally any dragonet my age had ever been despite the fact that she'd have had every right to want me dead, and i spent literally the entire rest of my life following her around like a very traumatized duckling.

as far as i can tell, i spent my entire life in the rainforest after the volcano erupted. the time period right before the eruption is super hard to remember because i was having visions or nightmares pretty much 24/7 due to the impending eruption, and there's a lot of uncertainty over exactly what went down - i think i helped with one of the rainwing escapes, but i have no details, just sort of blurs of feelings and stuff. i can't rule out that i ended up attending jade mountain academy, but i really don't think i did - i sort of remember teaching kinkajou to read ? and sometimes i get flashes of young adulthood, almost all of which are set in the rainforest.

my second timeline is easier to chart, but harder to sum up, because i remember so much more. i was born in the rainforest and spent more like a year there before mom and i were caught, so long enough to have figured out that i had foresight, and how to hide it and my mind reading. however, i was also very young and very scared and made the very stupid decision to reveal both powers when we were found because i thought it would keep both of us safer. which, i mean, i don't know, maybe it did. there was a very real risk of them killing both of us for a minute there. really not worth it, though.

since i wasn't a literal baby at this point, i was pretty much immediately put into use as a tool in mostly the same ways from the first timeline. i got a few more privileges, but i was also a lot more hated than in the first timeline (i actually had a scar from being woken up with a knife once when i was forced to sleep with the other dragonets, which was mostly done to punish me but also served to punish everybody else) and subsequently became way more of a bitch. i hung out with deathbringer in this timeline, too, and i actually remember going to him a few times when i needed to lay low in adulthood.

it seems like if i met kinkajou in this timeline it must have been off the volcano, but frankly i'm not 100% sure she was ever on it in the first place. (i think there might not have been many rainwings brought to the volcano at all, if any, because we knew how limited our time was? i'm still figuring this part out.) i don't remember much from the months leading up to the eruption because i was having an even worse time with my visions in this timeline. (it seems like this might be connected to the clearsight thing, because as far as i can tell that was mostly in the second timeline. i know i had much more debilitating visions in the second, and haven't found any evidence of, i don't know, tampering ? in memories of the first.)

i didn't go to jade mountain academy as a student, but at some point i was within range and heard darkstalker. most details of the whole debacle are fuzzy at best, but i know i was responsible for releasing him and partially responsible for killing him, alongside some portion of the jade winglet, but i can't really confirm much else from that period of time. (the details of the functional immortality spells were a little different from canon, thus my use of the word killing. no peacemaker, just a body.) i know i ended up going back to the rainforest after.

originally my powers were technically supposed to be secret, but all the nightwings knew so most of the rainwings knew, and then a lot of the icewing nobility suspected because after all that i started being brought to certain diplomatic events of all things while political relations were really dicey, i guess because glory was hoping i'd let her know if someone was planning to kill her, which i guess i probably would have but i don't think she even ever outright acknowledged what i could do. (i don't even remember what her excuse for this was, by the way, because i was barely an adult by the standards of every tribe but the nightwings, who very much considered me not full-grown, and also kind of directly responsible for the failed genocide attempt that had made political relations so dicey, from a certain point of view, but i do vaguely remember thinking she may as well have put a sign on me that said "assassin detector" or something.) i know there were a handful of dragons in probably every tribe that knew, but i don't remember why or how in any other cases. i think a lot of dragons could tell there was just something off about me.

i made a lot of deeply questionable personal decisions (including a not-insignificant amount of political meddling, completely unrelated to anything in the last paragraph by the way, i really don't know how i got myself into these situations, lately i've been blaming clearsight because it usually turns out to be true) at this point. details are not important, but i was, as mentioned before, kind of a bitch during this time.

i ended up becoming something of an archivist, i started spending time in the old kingdom because i liked the solitude but library visits turned into more rigorous archival work and then research projects and i ended up doing a lot of work annotating old nightwing propaganda, which was of interest to like five other dragons on the planet haha but i found it really rewarding and . i don't know healing almost. and i can only assume i kept doing that, because i really don't remember much past young adulthood.

i don't know if i've ever shared all that in one place. some of that i've known for years, some of it for months, so it was a little hard to put it all together (this is my third draft !) but i hope it'll be of use. i'm still getting comfortable sharing this but feel free to ask for clarification if you want (and genuinely believe it's appropriate to ask about)
